Terrible welcoming

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good.the restaurant was the best thing in the hotel.we had the best hospitality and the best food in Milan. Special thanks toDaniele
Cons: The room size very small needs to be improved.
We had a problem finding a room with 2 single beds although we had written this when we booked the hotel.we had to spend 1 hour to solve this at the reception which is quite tiring after a long journey.

Nice pretty hotel

Front desk is pretty chaotic buy staff is nice and helpful. Wifi is spotty, slow. For the money I'd expect a little more, but it was fine.

Good location but some rooms are noisy.

Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: I loved the simple yet chic design of the hotel. The staff are the greatest asset as everyone is so helpful and very well mannered.
Cons: The rooms overlooking the front of the hotel need to be less noisy, so maybe a change in windows with better double glazing would be beneficial.
Location: Duomo di Milano, Pinanoteca Brera and Palazzo Reale are within walking distance. Eat at Mamma Rosa and Piazza Repubblika and enjoy many artisan gelato
This is a nice modern hotel in the heart of Milan, around 5 minutes walk from the Duomo. It's central location makes it easy to visit the main historical sites in Milan. The hotel rooms are comfortable and very nicely designed. My only negative is the rooms overlooking the main open space in front of the hotel, at night it's very noisy and if you're like me and don't sleep very well, then ask for a room at the back of the hotel where it's very quiet. I prefer not having a view and be in a quiet area of the hotel then the other way round. I changed the room at 12.25am and the staff where very helpful in finding a quieter room for me. The breakfast is fairly good for what you pay. Don't expect an lavish English breakfast as Italians mainly eat just a croissant and cappuccino for breakfast. I loved the fresh fruit salads, yogurts, mixed leaf mozzarella salads, prosciutto, wholemeal croissants, very nice bread, pancakes, nutella, smoothies etc... There's plenty of choice! . I'll definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting Milan in the future.

Very helpful staff and great accommodations

Posted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: Everything...nothing was unpleasant or lacking.
Cons: I don't have any suggestions. Everything was wonderful.
Location: Duomo is VERY close by and there is a lot of restaurants so need need to go hungry.
I was only in Milan for 1 day but the staff was very helpful to explain how to access local sites and suggested local authentic Italian restaurants away from the tourist traps. Breakfast was excellent. I will be sure to try another NH Hotel soon.

Excellent Hotel see all attractions by foot

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Customer service from all staff. The breakfast buffet. It would suit a city break or ideal for business.
Cons: Better hair driers
Location: All attractions within walking distance. If you need to go further afield a taxi ride is easily available.
Warm welcome from the moment you set in until the moment you leave which I don't normally expect from city hotels. All staff friendly and polite and can't do enough for you. Breakfast choice for all dietary needs and choice availability the same if you eat early or late. Arrived on a Friday and left on the Monday. Plenty of time to see the sights on our list, go to a concert, eat wonderful food in the restaurants and why not picnic out with food bought from Eats. Glorious sunny weekend and always felt safe out and about. No need to take a taxi from the airport, very efficient and much cheaper to get bus to Central station then taxi to you hotel from there from licensed taxi drivers.

Perfect as close to all shops and centre of Milan

Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Everything good, room,food,staff etc
Cons: Nothing but really for couples not children
Location: All shops and Duomo
The only downside in Milan is the additional travel time from terminal 2 to terminal 1 then the train to Cadrona then the taxi to the hotel

Posted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: modern, clean, great location, nice staff
Location: great location, close to the duomo, shopping and metro stations that take you almost anywhere.
it was a surprise to find such a pleasant and modern hotel in milano. we'd already stayed in an nh hotel in amsterdam but it wasn't as nice. good experience considering it was the last day of a 10 day vacation.

Great hotel. Can't fault it at all. Views from our room were great. Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful. And to top it off it was in a great spot and the rooms were spacious and modern. Will definitely stay there again!
