"This little farmhouse is 100 years old and still had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, nice showers and plenty of hot water. It gave us a taste of a life lived long ago. Views were beautiful and the town of Lucca was 20 minutes away by car. Shopping there is great. The farmhouse is remote, quiet, and in the middle of olive trees. Wi-Fi was good, and the parking was a nice amenity. Massimo provided us with a lot of local information which was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay."

"Fabio was a great host making us feel so welcome bringing us fresh cherries and generally making sure we had all we needed. Accommodation and pool were great, not a heated a pool but on hot days that’s no issue. Location was perfect for us as it provided privacy, tranquillity and views while also only being a 15 min drive from a shop, train station which put Lucca, Pisa and Braga all within reach. "We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully appointed and comfortable house that easily accommodated the six of us. Paulo (the owner) could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The local town is a short ten minute walk through the woods where there are options for eating, drinking and shopping. We had an electric car (EV) and were pleased to find charging options within walking distance. Thanks to Paulo and family for facilitating such a lovely two week stay."

"We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. "The villa and facilities are as described and the photographs are accurate representations. The property was very clean and the furniture comfortable. Our children made full use of the WiFi and it did not fail their high demands! We loved the pool, beautiful garden & balcony and spent most evenings relaxing here. Be warned - a variety of biting insects emerge at night, so prepare an array of deterrents! Lucca, Pisa, Barga etc are all easy drives."

"A clean, comfortable villa with a fantastic view. Enzo, Host, was very helpful in getting our group settled. He even went way out of his way to pick up part of the party from the station in Pisa. "We had a very nice stay and overall this is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We had two adults and and two 15 year old girls for 5 nights. The home is very charming with adequate bedroom and bathroom space. The outside spaces are nice, especially the covered eating area. "Pure tranquility with the constant burble of the trout stream. The house is quite someway up a mountain, down a dirt track and in a valley - not for the faint hearted. Pool relies on sun to heat and the temperature was still quite fresh in June. Great location for access to Florence, Pisa, Chianti wine region, and host of beautiful hilltop towns and villages. Nice restaurants and shops around, 10 min walking distance to the train station which takes you to Cinque Terre (which is less then 10 min train ride to the first village).
