Unless you’re coming to this hotel for business, there are many other hotels in SF for the same or lower $$ that are so much better I’ve stayed in many 4-5 Star hotels, and quite honestly, this hotel has 2 things going for it - the Lobby (beautiful), and the location - and that’s pretty much it. ...

Great location: many good restaurants within the walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff in giving advices and to respond to our demand. Hotel facility is first class. I love the idea of providing cimplimentary apple and drink at the lobby. We certainly will stay agaun at Omni when visiting ...

This hotel and its staff are INCREDIBLE!!! We were spoiled from the moment we pulled the car to the front of the hotel. The staff could not do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. The room was beyond luxurious. We were so comfortable and happy we never wanted to leave!!!

The hotel is close to public transport( BART and buses), near SF MOMA and the Yerba Buena Garden Center. Shopping is also nearby, as well as Union Square and the cable cars. The house cocktails are sublime, and the Grill restaurant is tasty and calm. Lots of other eating options nearby if you are ...

4 night stay, with 2 kids. Friendly welcoming staff (free teddy for the youngest!), impressive foyer, comfy seats. Clean bedroom - a little tired decor in places but nothing off-putting. Lovely comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom modern, with all facilities - mirror light not working but not major. ...
Great location, lovely staff and good sized rooms overall awesome value for money in it category in SFO
Classy hotel in the heart of tourist attractions. Excellent staff. Quiet room, even on the street.
A perfect stay in SF. The Ritz is full of class, great customer and a very clean and pleasant stay. Location was central, only a few blocks walk to everywhere. Highly recommend!
There are many good words said about the Ritz and I can sign under each one of them. Special thank you to Michael, who took great care of us (and even remembered my not-so-easy last name :)); Concierge John, who assisted me with cabs and surrounding area; Spencer at the front door who was always ...
I never got so much rest in my life. Relaxing atmosphere, great room conditions, friendly staff. The restaurant next door was very very good as well. If you want a nice place to get away from it all and just rest your body, this is the place!
Elevator has been out of order for few days during the long weekend so the elders and luggage / wheel chair has difficulties to access to the guess room, most disappointing, they should call emergency service by adding charges to repair it. Breakfast serving is slow as most of the time only 1 worker ...
I enjoyed my stay and would book again. It’s a great location and was close to everything we needed. The staff was good.

In an older section of San Fran, walking from this hotel to sights, shopping, etc. is quick but requires going through blocks where homeless people live, so that's not ideal. The hotel itself is old but kept up pretty well. The beds are comfy but there's no cable, no HD TV, and no hot water at nights. ...

The Mark Hopkins is my favorite hotel. Pure Class.
I just did a "quick grab" of the options looking for a low-cost bargain. The hotel turned our to be really nice: very high standard and hence a happy surprise for my wife and I !
