Average Hotel on the beachPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The location right on the beach which included use of lounge chairs, umbrellas on the beach for free as a hotel guest. Hotel staff is friendly.
Cons: Quality (taste and freshness) of food and variety of food.. Upgrade WIFI signal and internet speed. Maintain rooms and update the rooms.
Location: On the beach, close to bars, restaurants and lots of activities. Most everything within walking distance.
Hotel is a typical older Mexican type hotel where mostly local tourists travel. The rooms were average and not well maintained (card door reader was broken in our first room, remote control for tv not working in second room, A/C ran continuously despite setting temperature and fan speed did not change from high to low). We had the all inclusive package and the meals were basically the same everyday and did not taste very good or flavorful. The snack bar would have food that had been cooked hours earlier and sitting in warmers drying up (burgers, sandwiches dry after sitting in warmers for 3 hours). WIFI signal was poor and internet service very slow.

Older but true Mex charecter.Posted Jul 12, 2014
Upgraded to mini suite. Recommend. Small but nice. Good hot showers. Overlooked pool and ocean . (Left side, 2nd floor) clean, little worn with time. Nice bed, room for kids with second TV , Good food in restaurant! Quiet. But there during off season. Nice

Just the basics, close to the center of townPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Nothing fake or plastic about it.
Cons: It is showing signs of age and has an overall grubbiness that might bother some.
Location: Convenient to shopping, the Malecon, lots of restaurants of all kinds, right on the beach, steps from the water taxi pier.
This is an unpretentious authentic Mexican vacation spot, with a pool, balconied rooms, and immediate beach access, right in town. The public parts of the hotel are noisy with kids and music, but the rooms are peaceful. It is tidy but not new nor sparkly. You will not have to deal with a lot of drunk gringoes: it's a Mexican family hotel. Lots of kids, easy-going vibe. Restaurant has fun free shows at night, but they are done early enough for kids to sleep by 10.

Ok hotel next to the beach at good pricePosted Jun 18, 2014
It's an ok hotel just to sleep and take a shower but if you plan to stay in the room good luck on the moisture smell and the noises from the plumbing. Our bathroom didn't have a door knob and you can hear noises through the window. But the view from the balcony was amazing.

Nice Location on the Beach near Los Muertos PierPosted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: Comfortable air conditioned rooms with balconies and great ocean views in the superior rooms
Cons: Too many vendors on the beach--we constantly had to say "no quiero".
Location: Lots of restaurants around within walking distance plus just a short cab ride to the superb Vista Grill up the hill from the hotel.
Great stop on our way to Yelapa. Very nice beach with comfortable chaise lounges and umbrellas to ward off the sun. The restaurant on the beach was a great place to relax after a day of the travel.

We stayed here for a few days! There were lots of other people staying so it was fun, the bar man by the pool was excellent! And the food and room were lovely too!

Worst hotel,Too many restrictions,Food&staff sucksPosted Jun 1, 2014
I got there and expected an amazing vacation by the pool and beach. Well that what it looked like until they had my reservation confused with another. The rooms are so small and AC sucks. Oh and be prepared to be woken up at 7am bc kids are playing in the pool that early and all the rooms surround the pool. Ok staff writes about you in the notebook. They reuse the shampoo bottles, Oh ya attention all gays: this is not a gay friendly hotel. Oh the things I liked about this hotel. They give you two waters a day for free hahaha. Never again will I stay here

Very accommodating and friendly hotel!Posted May 26, 2014
This was my first time staying in puerto Vallarta and I had a very pleasant stay. They did a good job making me feel welcome and the place was very secure. It's also a big plus that the hotel is right off the beach :) I plan on staying here again in the future!
