“Super”
The Hotel was great, so was the service and the location was perfect. It was within walking distance of everything I wanted to see.
“Good hotel... but busy / noisy neighborhood!”
Overall, the hotel is really nice. A little "narrow" in some areas. Unfortunately, this hotel is in a very busy area about a block from Fisherman's wharf / Pier 39. Our stay was good till about 11pm when a concert was going full blast across the Parking Lot at the Hall. When I asked the staff what was going on, I was hung up on and never received a call back. Overall, the hotel was very nice, weather was great and outside of the lack of sleep, the stay was enjoyable.
“Not impressed. Needs remodel”
This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. Not even close to usual Sheraton standards. Service was excellent. Rooms very small and can hardly turn sideways in the bathroom. Will not go back unless substantially upgraded.
“Thanksgiving stay”
We stayed 5 nights during the Thanksgiving period. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to all the site along Fisherman Wharf. Lot's of restaurants and shops within 3 blocks. Hotel is noisy because of busy streets on each side and a motor court in the middle for check in. Take ear plugs if you want to sleep. Hotel could use a facelift but staff was very nice. Parking under the hotel for $50.00 a day with in and out privilege.
“San Francisco Trip”
The only problem I had with our recent stay was that there were animals allowed. In particular, dogs. Two of the mornings we awoke to barking before 8a.m. Not my idea of a vacation. We have stayed at the Sheraton Wharf in the past but have never seen dogs before. Had we known in advance, we would not have stayed there.
“Good location, parking $51.00 daily”
The hotel is clean, very expensive parking, and services.
“Lovely Getaway”
My husband and I are "near-locals" (from Sacramento) and regularly just spend the day in SF but decided to stay the night near Fisherman's Wharf, and we're so glad we did. What a beautiful hotel! The interior of the hotel is bright, clean, and the blue and yellow color palette was refreshing. The room was very comfortable and such a great space- definitely larger than normal rooms. We especially enjoyed the rain against the sloped windows, very soothing. Will definitely return here next time. Note: Valet parking is pricey; it cost us $50-ish for one-night. I'm not sure if the valet service is pricier than self-parking.
“Typical overpriced, well decorated Motel 6”
My room, 1106, seemed to be well suited for Lilliputians. The bath area was extremely small, and I have to admit, using the toilet was like going in a bucket. That was the smallest toilet I have ever seen! The ambient noise was about the same as if I slept outside. It was clean, the help was very nice.
“Close to everything”
The hotel was beautiful. I was travelling with my family and 2 young children. We requested a crib and a mini fridge in the room and it was there when we checked in. The hotel was considerate because they put us in 2 interconnecting rooms. I didn't even know it until I checked in. Wonderfully surprised. Had extra room for the kids to run around. The hotel is within walking to everything that you want to do in Fisherman's Wharf. We didn't have to rent a car at all. When we woke up we just left the hotel and walked about 3 blocks to go have breakfast at the Boudin bakery. We had a wonderful vacation. Would recommend this hotel to anyone Two complaints- Only get WiFi in the lobby and it's hit or miss and the lobby cafe doesn't have a lot of seating room. Very crowded in the morning.
“Middle-of-the-road hotel”
I realize that everything in San Francisco is expensive, but if I had paid full price for this room rather than getting a deal, I would not have been pleased. The good: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, and even though it was in what seemed like a high-traffic area, it was very quiet. The hotel is only a few blocks from fisherman's wharf, within walking distance of Ghirardelli square, Pier 39, and the Alcatraz ferry. There's a grocery store across the street and plenty of good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. There's underground parking that felt safe. The bad: The nightly parking fee is astronomical, more than twice what I've paid at any other hotel. Seriously ridiculous. The decor in the hotel is...strange. Very bright, looked like it belonged in an airport. And some areas (hallways) inside the hotel seemed a little run-down. There's a bus depot right across the street, which made the area seem a little seedy until you got a few blocks away. Generally, it was fine. I got a good deal on the room, but if I'd paid full price, it would have felt like a rip-off.
