The front desk employees went above and beyond our expectations. Gordon helped sort out our family reunion parties by putting us all on the same floor; he helped us store a cake for the day and then providing us with plates/cutlery; everyone was super friendly and helpful! Booked this hotel specifically for their indoor pool since i was on vacation. when i arrived i was told the pool and jacuzzi were not working. They offered the hilton pool next door but it was outdoors and too full. Staff were amazing. I didnt read that i had to pay for parking so that was an added expense i didnt prepare for. Some of my towels had black sharpie on them and my room service tray was not picked up until the next day. Location is fine i will say its at walking distance of many places but there are many unhoused individuals in the area which is not an issue for me but i imagine it can be for some. If the pool was working definitely would be at least 4 stars.

The locals that I met had mixed views where this nice hotel is located- "Tenderloin." There are transients roaming around the area screaming. The hotel is not responsible for that. I was disappointed that I was not able to use my room's desk station to charge my cell. I asked the front desk, they suggested they could have the handy man look into it in a few days. It is not a perfect place. Either is the location.
