"My wife and I stayed a week with our two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed so the dogs could just wander about. The pool area is also fenced off so the dogs can’t go in. And yes the pool really is heated and it was wonderful. You do need a car to explore the area. We went into the mountains to explore the waterfalls on some days and down to the various beaches on others. Thanks to Manuel for being a wonderful host. We hope to come back in the future."

"Hemos pasado unos días muy buenos y tranquilos en la casa y en la localidad de Esposende. Una casa grande y con todo muy bien. La piscina es magnífica. La playa está a cinco minutos andando. Si tienes perro, a 10 minutos tienes una estupenda playa adaptada a perros. Si hay ocasion volveremos."

"House is in an unusual neighborhood and was very difficult to find because hand-drawn maps were hard to understand and were in French. Owners are absentee landlords living in France and did not communicate on WhatsApp, as I requested. Tried by email, but owner always used French, not my language! No soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, condiments, coffee or tea provided. That being said, place was very clean, spacious (could easily handle 6 people) and beautiful, a few km from beautiful beach....

"Although navigating the narrow streets and roads can be a challenge, once you get to the top of the hill, the spectacular views and the modern sleek accommodations are more than worth it. Although the nearest town (Seixas) is not exactly a bustling metropolis, it is very quaint (as are the neighboring towns), and there's really excellent access by major arteries to Porto and beyond. We found a local vineyard with a great tour (and lunch) at Casa de Cuca, and enjoyed kayaking and bicycling pretty...

We loved every minute - it was hard to drag ourselves away to explore. Restaurants and beach are just a 5 minutes walk. Would highly recommend. "We had a wonderful time in Silvia's villa! the location is perfectly situated close to the beaches, Porto, and the lovely town of Viana do Castello. The villa itself has everything you could want, a swimming pool, a barbecue area, games for kids, a pool table, and lots of social spaces. We had a chef come and cook a special dinner one of the nights and the kitchen was very well equipped! We loved our time there and will definitely return!"

"We had a lovely time at casa lumi, such a stunning and unspoiled area of Portugal. Our family enjoyed hikes to amazing waterfalls, swims in the river homem, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and visits to Braga and Guimares. The house itself is perfect for 8 people, spacious and well equipped with a beautiful garden area/pool with gorgeous views. Diane was very helpful and responsive to any queries. "The villa was as advertised. Great sunset views, nice rooms, Wonderful common areas. The key was being able to reach the property owners and have them respond right away. André and Maria were great at answering our text messages right away, and working through a minor gate issue we had. The housewarming gift was very thoughtful and well received. We would recommend this villa to anyone. They made our time there enjoyable, because they responded quickly to our questions."
