"Stayed at this property while in town for a work conference. The Congress Center is a close walk, which was perfect for us. You will need Uber, bus or trolley to get into Lisbon for a lot of sight seeing. The flat is laid out in genuine Portuguese style as our hosts explained. There was a lot of space. The garden is lovely. The hosts are delightful and full of great recommendations."

"Hebergement calme et une petite structure familiale. Propritaire très prévenant. Par contre, la voiture est indispensable. Pour se rendre a Lisbonne, il est conseillé de prendre le ferry a Bareiro sans la voiture et utiliser les transports en commun dans la capitale. "

And having a games room was fun! Very clean and comfortable and well furnished. Only a 30-40 minute drive into Lisbon but also within half an hour of Sesimbra, TimeOut Market etc."

"A Barca charm house was the perfect place for our entire family to enjoy a week in beautiful Portugal. Sandra and Eduardo are the most charming hosts and so helpful. The house was supplied with everything we needed, clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. There are bikes, games, toys and an awesome heated swimming pool. So close to all the major sites and beaches. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!"

"A well equipped villa with plenty of space inside and out. Plenty of sunbeds and you can choose shade or sun. The pool was good for a cool down. Elisabete looked after us very well and fixed any problems we had very quickly. Very helpful to have things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, charcoal & soap etc provided so you don't have to go out and buy everything on the first day. Even shower gel and shampoo provided. You need a car as other than a handy pizza restaurant very close, there...

"Very nice property if a little dated, limited air conditioning & showers over baths. Plenty of space, bedrooms were good size & layout was excellent. Pool & bbq areas are very good ‘ garden is nice. You need a car for the area … groceries a mile away, small local coffee shops in walking distance. Beach 2+ miles … is a real find, has plenty of character & is beautiful especially in evening time, has some decent shack like restaurants with lots of character, it’s a working beach where fishermen...

"Vasco is a great host and his home is confortable for 8 people. Someome came to clean the pool and another person was here to change the bed sheets. Beautiful and safe area, close to Lisbon and magnificent beaches. Would go back with no hesitation."

"Very well equipped. We were particularly impressed with the amount of toys and stuff to entertain the children. Unfortunately the restaurants and bars were too far out to walk to with the children. We made the most of the outside kitchen and had a lovely relaxing stay!"

"A nice villa in an excellent location for all the excellent beaches, but in need of some upgrading. External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone."

"Superbe maison. Très spacieuse avec ses 9 chambres. Nous étions 14 adultes et nous avions amplement d’espace pour tous et chacun. Nous avons profité des talents culinaires de Maria Helena et de Ana à 5 reprises pour notre plus grand bonheur. Elles sont super gentilles. Nous les avons adorées. "Booked this villa for a big family holiday to celebrate a 40th birthday. Paulo made the booking process so easy with same day replies to all our questions leading up to the holiday, handy tips and being so accommodating to our requests even during our stay. The villa had something for everyone. With the heated pool, jacuzzi, games room and lovely local beaches - we had the best time! About 30/40 mins from Lisbon - super easy to book Ubers. We're so glad we treated ourselves to the private...

"I booked the property for 19 persons as a celebration for a friend. Paulo was always communicating with us for the months in the build up to the stay. The chef Jose was very friendly and cooked a great breakfast as well as a dinner for our final night. It is around 45 minutes from Lisbon but Paulo helped us organise taxis for a visit into the city on one of our days. There is also a supermarket around 5 minutes drive. Having the football pitch was also a great plus :) if you stick to the house...

"The villa was located in an upscale neighborhood close to several restaurants and stores. The only disappointing aspect was that only two of the five bedrooms had air conditioners and it was very warm during our July stay—room fans would have been helpful. The host Alice was nice and friendly. We were a group of 11 and the pool and ping pong table was enjoyable for the children."

"De woning op zich was prima, ruim genoeg en schoon. Ik vind de prijs kwaliteit verhouding te groot, zo is er geen tuin bij de woning. Wel een klein terras met weinig privacy, het mooie uitzicht wordt compleet tenietgedaan door een dorre heg.Verder waren er 2 kleine theedoeken(?) dat is echt te weinig voor 2 weken verblijf..ook geen vuilniszakken op voorraad,geen vaatwastabletten extra. Dat zijn toch de extra dingen die je mag verwachten voor de prijs die gevraagd wordt voor deze woning.Het...
