"Old college friends meeting up once a year for antiquing, no cooking, no husbands and lots of conversation. We enjoyed a two night stay. Plenty of space for 2. Each of us had our own bed and full bath (up bath is a shower only). One of each on the main floor and in the basement. Minimal but nice decor. Wished we brought binoculars. Pretty view of the lake. A decent walk to the dock. Mown path. A killer climb back up if you have sciatica and bad knees. We didnt spend much time in the back....

"We were very happy with our stay. While the property looked like a cabin from the outside, it was very modern on the inside. It was furnished very nicely and the kitchen had all the dishes and utensils that we needed. The cabin is located on a main street in Shipshewana where many, many Amish residents pass by in their buggies. Our favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch and hearing the clip clop of distant horses hooves and waiting for them to pass by pulling a carriage. We will...
