The whole atmosphere of the hotel was great. Many things to do and places to go within walking distance.

Stay twice in the fall

Falcons season ticket holders. Go to Atlanta on Saturday, watch college games at Velocity and Stats. Get ready fo the game on Sunday

Luxury Comfort

Very well appointed room. Plenty of pillows, lofty down comforter and plush mattress pad. Fluffy soft towels. Sleep came easily, little outside noise, the whole stay was a dream.

i not sure about the 4 stars. looks like old. i am not happy because of the type of room that the check in staff assign to expedia customers. It is the second time where i received a poor quality room with expedia.

Will never stay there again!

Had issue with room service. Got breakfast- was served OJ in a broken glass, coffee splilled all over breakfast because the seal on the decanter was faulty, a service mgr had to come up to my room... Then she offered me 20% off. This was ridiculous. I had to go all the way up to the hotel MGR to not get charged for that breakfast. It was a real waiste of time for me and a very unpleasant experience.

Small rooms for the great high price, WOW

The hotel ambiance was great. The rooms were ok; but, the bathrooms were very small. In order to get in and out of the shower you had to squeeze between the toilet and the sink counter. Trying not to touch the toilet after getting out of the tub was an upsetting moment. For the price that they charge for these rooms; this is ridiculous. This supposed to be the best that Atlanta has to offer. I feel sorry for them. 2 star hotel/motels have larger bathrooms. Who wants to be rubbing up against a toilet after getting out of a shower. It’s crazy! Who designed this?

The Sear restaurant daily buffet was great. and the Velocity had great food and service. You will enjoy dining at both of these onsite venues.

Very nice hotel.

Stayed for one night on a business trip. The hotel was very nice. The service was excellent. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast. The sports bar burger was outstanding.

Nice

The Atlanta Marriott Marquis was huge and beautiful. I stayed only one night but was very happy with the atmosphere, check-in process, and comfort of this hotel. Location was good, though if you are going to the Georgia Dome, you can find much closer in the same price range. I would stay here again.

LOVED IT

The hotel was very clean and our room was really quiet. We went out to dinner and when we came back our room had been cleaned and we had new towels in our bathroom. The 24 hr valet service was nice and prompt. No complaints.

If in downtown Atlanta, this is the place to stay.

Very Nice

My husband and I went for the night, and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful. We walked to dinner as it is within walking distance to several restaurants. Also, we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and I would definately do that again.

Great for weekend visit

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Marquis. Traveling with a 3-year-old we didn’t want to have to hunt around too much for food and didn’t have to with the great restaurants in the hotel. They were very friendly and amenable to having a little one with us for dinner - even at the excellent Sear. The Marquis was a great location - close to the MARTA train and also the Aquarium/Olympic Park. We would stay there again.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Take the MARTA in from the airport rather than renting a car or taking a taxi. Traffic into Atlanta is absolutely horrible anyway and the train is available from the airport with the Peachtree stop just 2 blocks from the Marquis. And it’s only approx $2 pp each way.

Classy and comfortable

Stayed for a 2night business trip and was very satisfied with cleanliness, comfort, and overall ambiance.

Decent Enough

The rooms were clean, but absolutely tiny. They were not the spacious rooms and comfy beds that I have come to associate with Marriott. Hotel service was not the best and it was near impossible to navigate your way to the attached parking garage with several of the roads blocked off. We eventually just valet parked our car. The concierge provided us a map but little helpful information about the area.

It may be a bit of a hassle to drive from place to place in Atlanta, but it is well worth it for safety reasons. It is easy to get turned around and the population of homeless is out of control. You can go from a clean safe area to a run down, bad part of town in one turn. Don’t be fooled by people advertising parking for $10 for the Aquarium. There is an attached parking garage around the back!

Room and hotel was very clean... they have too many elevator options and it is easy to get momentarily lost...other wise I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel.

Amazing Stay

This hotel was amazing. The valet worked in a quick manner, the hotel itself is gorgeous, and the service was nice and quick to serve. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The breakfast we had at the restaurant located within the hotel would be in my opinion, 4star. The part I loved the most about the hotel is how nice it is and glamorous on the inside and also being able to walk to all the tourist attractions easily. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I look forward to staying there again.

We were able to walk to the GA dome and also the GA aquarium without any problems and both were very easy to find and get to. On the way we passed the Hard Rock cafe and a large park.

The hotel is HUGE! Friendly and courteous valet. Friendly and helpful staff. Room service was over priced, but to be expected. Walking distance from Hard Rock and a shopping mall and other attractions. View was pretty amazing too. Room was super plush, with a pillow top king size mattress and a down comforter. Nice hot shower, but took the hot water a long time to get hot. But that was probably because we were on the 19 floor. Overall it was a bit pricey, but I would definitely stay there again!

Loved the convenience

The hotel was within walking distance of many activities and restaurants and we loved the spa. The only disappointment was the pool. It was cold out and the rooftop was open so too chilly to swim.

We highly recommend the neighborhood mystery dinner theater. It was a lot of fun. You have to like audience participation.

Great Hotel!

My boyfriend and I went to Atlanta for a long weekend because we have never been there before and it seemed like a good place to visit. This hotel made all the difference! With it’s great location, we were able to walk to pretty much everything we wanted to and with the time we saved by walking, we were able to come back to the room and relax in a nice and comfortable and clean environment. Would stay there again in a second!

Nice Hotel; Reasonably priced

The architechture and ambience of the hotel public space was impressive. The hotel staff was very accommodating, and the rooms are well appointed with comfortable bedding. Enjoyed the use of the fitness center. Would have been nice if they had incorporated a nice view of the skyline in some of their restaurant and lounge space.
