Not a good experience

At the first night, we stay in a bedroon with a terrible smell. After we asked, we are moved to a bedroon but it had not been cleaned... we asked for new sheet, but they gave us a single one! We asked again and a dirt one brought... The breakfast is extreamly simple... I will not stay in that place again.

cheap but not comfort

All we want is just a clean room,no matter it’s small or something else. but it can not reach the basic requirement.

Cheap and expect the same level of quality too...

The location of the hotel was good. It was walking distance from Universal Studio and Wet’n Wild. The staff was friendly and handled check-in and checkout quite quickly. Cons: They have Wifi only around the lobby area. If you get a room elsewhere, you might not get internet in the room. The room smells bad and probably mold They dont have a printer if you need to take any ticket printout

NOT IMPRESSED !!

Well i had to change rooms two times because of the Maintenance of the rooms. They seem to have alot of problems with plumbing ! our first room the shower head leaked so bad it would spray over the shower curtain so you could really take a shower beside the Tub. The second room was ok until we started wondering why our socks were getting wet close to the room entrance door and it smelled like SEWER that also was outside the room door. So if ya wonder why your socks are yellow then that is the answer SEWER leaking under the floor!!

its only ok if you are in desperate need

if i was to go back to orlando i would probably not stay at this hotel. the location is great you have wet n wild right across the street, a convenient store right next door and you can pretty much get to most theme parks on the trolley. going back to the hotel it was not very clean and it would take us at least two minutes for the room door to accept our card to get in ( i also heard other guests having that same problem). the pool is a plus it is clean and the breakfast is ok to start you off. i guess its ok for people on a budget, but im sure there are other hotels by the same location that have similar pricing. another problem was the front desk. the gentlemen where very courteous, but for some reason the ladies were rude and they would let you stand there for a while before they would help you.

make sure you buy the trolley pass it is definitely worth it. oh and there is a restaurant across the street that is great. i forgot the name but its the only one that starts with a P. oh yea and feeding the crocodiles is fun too.

Very simple hotel

Metropolitan Express is a very simple hotel to stay, but for me was ok. We were looking for a hotel just to take a shower, sleep and access internet, and this one was ok for us. The room was very clean and there is a good pool. Go there if you wanna something cheap.

Second time back

I chose to stay at this hotel again because the location is great, it’s near many restaurants and attractions, Universal Studios is minutes away City Walk is great. The first time i stayed I wasn’t too thrilled with the room it was a bit old the bathroom grossed me out but i took a chance and requested a pool view room and it was much better it was more updated and very clean. I was very pleased the second time around will definetly stay there again.

Putrid smelling stairwells - stay away

This hotel is quite the budget special since it is across from the waterpark. The lobby is decent but heavily trafficked. The hallways are quite long and circuitous with no elevators. The stairwells are foul smelling and littered with trash. We had to hold our breath every time we went downstairs. The rooms are actually not bad and somewhat clean but we had to change three times since the first room faced a garbage bin and the second room did not have a functioning air conditioner. The third was better except that they never came to open our room safe. The air conditioner was very loud and went on and off all night giving us a torturous sleep. There was someone smoking in the room next to us even though it was a non smoking section and so the hallway smelled like an ashtray. The clientele seemed a little unsavory as well. We arrived around 8 pm in the evening and checked out the first thing the next morning. The hotel did refund the three nights that we paid for but did not stay.

Never again

Poorly kept hotel. First room I was given had mold growing on the wall and smelled of vomit. Second room a little better, but hair on floors from previous guest I assume. Not very clean establishment and would not stay here again. Had a young child with me and place did not seem very kid frienly or a safe environment.

Close to attractions, but advertised shuttle only leaves at one time so if you miss it, you have to arrange for othr transportation and the taxi service the hotel offers is expensive!

Orlando Fl

We were in Orlando for our family reunion. It couldnt be a better spot. Right on the strip (International Drive). Our first room was really far from the entrance of the hotel because my father is older an need assistance. They moved us right away. No, questions asked. Our rooms were cleaned every day, staff was really nice. I cant complain for the cost. Very inexpensive. We were directly across the street from restaurants Wet-n-Wild water park and plenty of souvenir shops. Let me not forget.. Less than 10mins from Universal Studios. My sister has stayed at this hotel several times with her family and she has also had great feedback and now its are time to confirm. Great price safe near all attractions friendly staff and if I return to FL. I will choose the same hotel.

Acceptable if you’re not picky

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, but the hotel itself was clearly pretty run down. No elevator, so heavy luggage had to be dragged up to the 2nd floor over really worn carpet. The safe in the room didn’t work and the towels were rough and cheap. But the price was very good for the room. The shuttle to Universal Studios was more of a taxi and charged $10, $2 more than a taxi I took back did, but they do run late. I’m not too picky, so thought it a decent enough deal.

Family Fun

This is an economical, clean hotel. The rooms are clean and you have fresh coffee in your room. You get Continental breakfast free every morning. The hotel is conveniently located on International Drive, I’ve stayed with my kids the last three trips to Florida. Recommend it highly!

Never Again!!!

I arrived early and had previously asked for early check-in accomodations; however, after waiting 2 hours and asking for a status I was told "Hey, I’m doing you a favor!" I had to ask for clean towels, in which they had no clean face towels. Additionally, they allowed an outside food source to litter flyers thoughout the hallways without validating the companies service because the food was falsely advertised and I was refused my money back! Never again!!!
