I usually stay at a different hotel just off the 16th Street Mall - but after my experience at the Magnolia - it has quickly become my favorite place to stay!

Would Go Back

Hotel Magnolia knows how to go the extra mile for guests. Their hot breakfast buffet, night time cookie bar, complimentary perimeter shuttle service, etc. were all good. The questions I had at the front desk/valet/concierge were pleasantly answered. Good central location. Our room was a little small, but nicely done. Also nice little Starbucks adjacent. Downsides: check out clerk was not very pleasant, which was a bum way to end the trip; they didn’t always catch everything when they cleaned the room (used wine glasses); and the courtyard outside the front door isn’t very well ventilated, so if people are smoking, watch out.

The light rail system runs adjacent to the hotel, so there are plenty of economical ways to get around the city -- if you need to go a farther radius than the complimentary shuttle.

Like the hotel overall and would stay again but not happy with housekeeping

On two of the days we were staying the housekeeping staff did not clean our room. I don’t know if this was some problem caused by the fact that the first day we were there we kept the do not disturb sign on all day (therefore not expecting the room to be cleaned) and they just assumed it was there the other days or what? The second time it happened, I called the front desk and the room eventually got cleaned while we were in it around 5:30PM which was a bit weird since I had called the front desk before 3PM when we were going out. Other than the mishap with the housekeeping staff, we had no problems - we were able to check in early, got extra towels with no problem when requested, the bed was super comfortable and we really enjoyed the free cookies at night. I was sick for most of our stay so I spent more time in the hotel room than usual and I was really glad we got a suite so I could store beverages in the fridge and not have to watch tv from the bedroom the whole time.

Awesome (shall I let out this secret?)

The hotel was wonderful and very accomodating! The room was huge and felt like you had an apartment. Room service was quick and delicious. I would recommend valet over self-parking it’s worth it! I’m almost afraid to say much more since I don’t want the place totally booked on my next visit :0)

Not what I was expecting

The price was great but the service and quality was less than I expected. Little things go a long way to making a stay great. Too few towels, no coffee cups for in room service on several days, only one robe then when they delivered it without a belt. I felt like they were looking for a service tip everytime they screwed up!

GREAT hotel service!

It was a smaller hotel then I normally stay but I was impressed with the great friendly services. Overall it was very comfortable stay. I enjoyed the homemade cookies and milk at 8pm.

Well located, good business hotel

Magnolia offers good accomodations for the business traveler. Although the rooms do not have refrigerators, the breakfast is very good, service is outstanding and the location is convenient to offices and 16th street mall dining. Definitely would stay there again.

Nice stay at the Magnolia

We stayed at the Magnolia Hotel over the 4th of July weekend. The included breakfast was nice and included hot items as well as continental fare. The evening milk and cookies was great, especially for our toddler (cookies were even freshly baked). Room was your standard hotel room, nothing special. The maid service left a bit to be desired. They made the beds, replaced the towels, and emptied the trash, but that was it. No wiping down of the bathroom or clean glasses or anything. Still, a nice hotel in a good location, and if you’re not a total slob, a great place to stay.

Magnolia Hotel is Modern and clean!

The consierge, Tim was amazingly helpful! He arranged flowers in our room that were delivered in a box. The staff was very helpful and the accomodations fantastic. Very close to great walking areas and restaurants. We’d stay again! Thank you!

Great downtown choice

The Magnolia was located near most points of interest downtown and had an excellent concierge service. The hotel also offers shuttle drop-off and pickup for certain hours of the day. The staff was helpful and the rooms were more than adequate. The morning breakfast and evening cookie buffet are also very nice. Good choice and great amenities.

Parking can be expensive downtown if you have a car. Magnolia offered unlimited in/out valet parking for a fee less than the surrounding parking lots.

Great hotel, great location

This was a wonderful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable, and it was in a wonderful location. It is within a reasonable walking distance of all of the downtown spots, and right on the 16th street mall. The breakfast was good, excellent for an included breakfast. The cookie buffet was a nice touch. My only complaint is that it only has valet parking (which is not cheap) but that is standard for any downtown hotel in a large city. Even with the parking, it was still a very reasonable price for the hotel.

The Denver Art Museum is a must-see. Don’t be put off if you don’t like paintings, it is actually mostly other types of art - Native American rugs and pottery, ancient artifacts from around the Americas, sculptures, you name it. There is a huge selection of stuff to see.

Great Place to stay in the city

We enjoyed the hotel very much! We were traveling with our 6 month old and it worked out great. We did not have much of a view because our hotel room faced the inside courtyard area. We were not staying there for a view. They had hot breakfast every morning included, along with the milk & cookies and happy hour was all very nice. The valet was easy as well, we were in and out a lot. Definately a place to stay and we had great deal through Expedia.

I visited the Magnolia with my fiance and we loved everything about the hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the extras were awesome. It is also within walking distance of Coors Field and most of the great Denver microbreweries.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Went to Colorado as a family vacation with our 2 daughters in their early 20’s. Hotel is located 1 block from the 16th street mall. Staff at the Magnolia was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were a good size with heavy entry doors, didn’t hear another person in the hallway at all. Very clean, nice bathroom. Only negative comment would be a noisy fan as part of the ventilation system. The Club room downstairs was spacious, comfortable, with varied seating and pool table area. Full breakfast, happy hour, and cookie and milk buffet were available there. Hotel shuttle was available to take us to the Botanical Gardens/Art Museum. Would definately stay there again! Great value for the money!

Perfection in Denver

My family and I loved this hotel and it’s location so much that we added another night to our visit in Denver! I have already recommended the Magnolia Hotel. Thank, Expedia!

The Magnolia hotel is one block off the famous 16th St. Mall, accessible to shopping, food, and all public transportation, or use their Denali service to some local attractions. The Aquarium is awesome as are several other local attractions.

Great location and good service!

Hotel was in a great location. The room was a little small and was off in a corner of the hotel. Maybe because we got a great price. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. Parking was an issue at $8.00 a day. That should be mentioned in the pricing of the hotel.

Great rate, Great downtown location

I am a big Colorado Rockies Baseball fan. I went to Denver to see a couple of games. I chose the Magnolia Hotel because to its downtown location and I was very happy with the rate I was given. The hotel is within walking distance of Coors Field. The service was very good, with a good breakfast and good room service. Will stay there again next summer.

Great destination

Half a block from RTD light rail and half a block from the free 16th street mall buses so lots of fun/entertainment steps away. Great staff at the HH bar

Lovely boutique hotel with loud vents.

Pluses: Friendly, helpful staff, great central location, clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the air conditioners are so loud I barely slept the first night and wore earplugs the second. (the air conditioners mounted outside each room echo through the air vent into the room and goes on as intermittently as needed.)

There’s so much here: world-class aquarium (you can actually swim in the shark tank!), perfect-sized fine arts museum (the fantastic psychedelic art poster show runs through July 19), ride rental bikes along the river. Great city.

Very helpful staff overall, espescially the valet’s to give you the scoop on the city events. Beautiful rooms too!

Good place to stay

Great location went down for rockies game walked right to it from hotel. Good breakfast and free drinks. Could use a new bed spread was a little worn my only complaint overall great hotel.

Very Nice Hotel

Met all my needs; in walking distance to the convention center; quiet clean room; moderate price; no problems of any sort. Free Breakfast was a nice touch.
