After checking in, we noticed that we needed a sheet, blanket, and pillow for the sofa sleeper for our kids to sleep on. I called the front desk and the attendant said that she was trying to get ahold of housekeeping, but her radio wasn't working so she would try to have them bring it up once she got ahold of them (thank you...I think?). After waiting half an hour, I went down to the front desk to see if I could just pick it up to which the attendant said no, house keeping had to bring it to me, but I was on the list.
Another half hour passed still nothing. I went back to the front desk and explained that we were trying to get our kids to bed. The attendant would not tell me where housekeeping was located so I could just go get a blanket, sheet and pillow and told me it would have been wise to "request these items on my reservation" so they would already be in the room?!?! (Should I also request for my room to be cleaned before check-in and to have towels in the bathroom...I thought these things were expected.) Ten minutes later, house keeping shows up with a sheet....just a sheet. 10 more minutes and he comes back with a blanket (still no pillow) but we had enough pillows. This just seems like REALLY BAD customer service for an Embassy Suites. Something I would expect from idk Motel 6? Please do better Embassy Suites!
