Hotel was OK

Just about every aspect of the stay was good except for the breakfast. Not much food choice for me.

Problem with Breakfast

they offer free breakfast, but I have many problems. When we arrive there is no more food. It’s not enough to all guests. The hotel is well located and easy to go anywhere.

Was okay

Kinda crummy hotel. Old nasty elevators and starirwells. Rooms were okay. They did have a nice view! Good location to go to wet n wild and stay for short trip

the wireless signal very poor ,the hotel is very old but its ok for the price and the place is very good near to all i recomend this hotel if you are looking good price

Not impressed

The cleaning of air condition is poorly. It also should clean air filters. When I made the reservation I asked about breakfast and they told me it was buffet. But really in the hotel isn’t buffet and does not have eggs neither yogurts. Just bread,cereal and fruits.

Not impressed!

We booked to stay at the Ramada for two nights after being rained out at Clearwater and deciding to head back to Orlando early. The hotel is dated and a bit grubby, staff were helpful though. The breakfast was served in a small room with insufficient space for all residents. It consisted of piles of bread for toast and a toaster, a tea and coffee machine and a few apples. they really had provided the minimum in order to tick a box and say they provide breakfast. To be fair we did get a good rate and had already paid to stay elswhere so didn’t want to pay much, however if we had booked to stay at the Ramada for our whole holiday, I would have complained and looked elsewhere for accomodation.

Small Breakfast Area

My only complain is about the breakfast area size, that is too small, but the hotel staff allow you to take your food to your room, so it’s not that bad...

Will not stay ever again!

Worst housekeeping staff ever! Room was not cleaned properly prior to check in. Room never vacuumed or swept. I went looking for the housekeeper one day and she was found in another guests room watching television.

The hotel is good, excellent location, front desk attention is good. The room everyday was very clean. Rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was disappointed, every day was so crowd, and I preferred to eat in other restaurants nearby,

Our room was great!!

My husband, my 2 year old daughter and I went for a comfortable hotel, and this is what we got. We went to Disney and to do some shopping, but needed a good nights rest, and Ramada was that place. The rooms are clean and affordable. We stayed in room 1214, this was the Lakefront View on the top floor, and the view was great. At night when we got in and looked out the window, the whole place was filled with lights and you could see the fireworks from Universal Studios and I think some of them were from Disney. The bathroom was clean, the room was spacious. We never made it to continential breakfast, but I’m sure it would’ve been great. The guy at the front desk was very nice and friendly (sorry I can’t remember his name). The hotel is in the heart of International Drive, and close to everything, so this was an extra plus. I will stay here again!!

Perfect for Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure

The location was perfect and convinient for Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure trip as well as night attractions like putt putt golf, bungie jumping, etc. Also several restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Could be better

Hotel is in prime location. Housekeeping wiped down vanity once in whole 13nights (that was the day I was in the room) - didnt vaccuum at all. Bit disappointed in housekeeping. Only stay as hotel in prime location

It takes 1hour to Disney in shuttle. You will have to stand on way back (Pack like sardines). I wish I was made aware of this. Driver will say no to going to Ramada Inn - get on shuttle anyway. Advised hotel - they called me a liar and said no-one had ever complained before (I spoke to other hotel guests and they complained as well) until another Bus driver called them as he let us on his bus cos we were stuck in rain as our shuttle driver left before pickup time.

not impressed

the hotel was in a great location, but the walls killed everything - you could hear the people in the next room so clearly, it was as if they were speaking to you. I stayed on the top floor so not sure if it’s different any other floor, but i doubt it. the worst part was the girl next door was probably 2 or 3 and didn’t speak but screamed everything, so it was like she had a microphone on and we were getting it in stereo. also, the pool didn’t have a bar, which is not at all what i’m used to when traveling to florida - there wasn’t any type of restaurant at all on the property. it’s nice to be able to relax by the pool with some refreshments, but u have to bring your own and if they get warm, so be it. luckily it was just a short 3 night trip and we spent most of our time at the water park down the road, but i wouldn’t stay here if i was planning a longer trip. going to disney at the end of this month, definately not coming back here.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

there is a year round carnival within a block’s walk (you can see it right from the balcony) and wet n wild is literally a 5 minute walk. the breakfast buffet is probably a 2 min walk and only 4 bucks a person (drinks & tax not included).

NOT THRILLED

I have stayed at many 3 star hotels and this one should be rated 2 stars. It is actually more like a motel. I am not a picky person- a hotel is just a place to sleep so I only need the basics, nothing fancy. What bothered me were all the roaches outside the hotel and on the elevators. The breakfast was sufficient and the location is good. Every morning the hotel staff sprayed insecticide on the outside premisis.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The I-Ride trolley takes you everywhere and you can purchase a 7 or 10 day unlimited ride pass! No need to rent a car.

Great Hotel for travellers on a budget

Like I said in the title. Only drawback is that the complimentary breakfast is really little, and lacks variety. And you have to get there early, otherwise it’s gonna get crowded.

Would NEVER stay again

Terrible hotel. We were overcharged $500 upon check in, we had a broken blowdryer, found a cockroach in our room and the hotel staff broke our laptop. We had to file a police report and still nothing has been done about it. We will NEVER stay again.

we asked for another bed in the bedroom and we receive, only in the checkout we receive the news that we had to pay 20 extra per pay for this bed.

Hotel Complimentary Breakfast

The hotel was nice to stay at; however, the complimentary breakfast was subpar. The breakfast room was very crowded and the toasters dont work.
