Almost Good Enough

Spent one night at Embassy Suites Boston Logan Airport. Good service, close to the airport. General hotel grounds are attractive. The hallways to the rooms were a little dingy and there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. My room was pleasant, but had a rattly air conditioner that was constantly turning on and off all night. I couldn’t just get the fan to turn on. The room was stuffy and hot with no air. So, I didn’t get a very good night’s sleep as I was being awakened constantly.. I am undecided with regards to whether I would stay there again. I spent the night there two years ago and it was fine.

Boston’s Best Buy

The room was a suite with 2 TV’s, so my daughter and I could watch what we wanted. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Hotel service was prompt. I will definitely go back.

great location for those who don’t want to drive

My husband and 2 teenagers visited 1 long weekend because of an early flight out of Boston decided to stay on this side of the river. Being so close to the T helped in our decision not to rent a car. Bonus. If you plan to use the train frequently, decide early to purchase a week long Charlie card for $15/person vs. $2 dollars/person a trip. Navigating the trains became easier as we got used to the layout of the city. Embassy suite was great and told us they would pick us up at the station if we needed to, but it was a pleasant walk through the park. We stayed on the second floor and heard almost nothing. Great breakfast as usual and friendly staff. I would recommend staying again.

Very nice

Very nice room, delicious breakfast. I arrived late and there was nowhere in the hotel or nearby to have any dinner and that was disappointing.

quality hotel

I like the hotel’s proximity to the airport. The shuttle ride is also a big help especially for us with 4 kids. The hotel staff is friendly. The hotel also has an indoor pool which is another plus for me and the kids. After seeing Boston, we can unwind and relax in the pool. The breakfast is also very good.

Great Boston location quiet hotel close to airport

The Boston Logan Airport Embassy Suites Hotel was excellent for our tourist stay. The courtesy shuttle picked us up at the airport shortly after we called. The front desk staff welcomed us and were very professional. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was so good and the supervisor gave great customer service. The shuttle van took us to the subway. The subway quickly took us to downtown Boston to view the sites. The courtesy shuttle always picked us up on our return to the hotel in the evening from the subway which is close to the hotel. You also could walk to the subway through a nice park if you wished. Our stay was a pleasant memory. Thank you to the staff!

great place to stay

We were quickly picked up at the airport. When we arrived at the hotel there was no record of our reservation, but that was quickly resolved and we were in our room. We had planned on going into Boston for dinner, but it was late and we ate at the hotel. There were several problems with the meal, but again they were quickly taken care of. There was plenty of information available for things to do and places to eat in the area, but we didn’t have time as we had an early flight the next day. They have a shuttle to the airport that comes about every 10 minutes and it takes about 5 minutes to get to the airport so it was very convenient. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Great location (5 minutes from airport a park away from the T 2 stops from downtown Boston), great shuttle service, great free breakfast. One complaint...no free WiFi! :( You have to pay a whopping $9.99 a day! Not cool.

Very convenient to the airport

Our room was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. The best part was the convenience to the airport and free shuttle to the terminal. I would highly recommend this hotel for travelers coming from or going to the airport. We stayed only one night, so I’m not sure how convenient the hotel would be for a tourist stay. Also, the outside of the hotel is not that attractive (not important for the purpose of our stay).

Nice Hotel

Even though the hotel was in the middle of rental car lots by the airport, the hotel was nice and clean. The room that we had was big enough for a family of 4-5, clean with 2 flat screen tvs. There was a welcome reception at around 5 pm for guests and they served some snacks. The breakfast buffet was great with all the choices you can think of. If you want to take a trolley trip around boston, the trolley comes by every morning to pick up passengers.

Good for one night if you’ve got an early departure or a late arrival

Hotel is right across the street from Hertz & Dollar car rentals. We dropped off our rental car, walked across the street, swam in the 3 foot deep pool (fun for kids), walked through the park to the airport T stop, went to Quincy Market for a Pizzeria Regina snack, returned and got the free hotel shuttle to our flight the next morning. I liked saving a night on the rental car cost, getting a good night’s sleep, and not stressing about catching our early flight.

Not the place to stay if you drove your own vehicle and plan on using public transportation.

If I had know the hotel was going to charge $32.50 per day to park, I would have waited to rent my car until I was ready to depart the Boston area. As it was I spent $97.50 to stow a rental car which I did not take out once and the rental car agency (Hertz) was only 1 block from the hotel. When I mentioned it to the manager when we checked in and found out the charge, his remark was "I guess you live and learn!"

Hotel Service

We had a king bed instead of 2 doubles. We were traveling with 2 children. The front desk told us that they could get us into a room with 2 doubles the next day, but that never happened. Otherwise, we were happy with the hotel, and the rates were excellent for all that we got!

This is not in the tourist part of downtown; however, it is right by the "T". It is a great value when you include the free breakfast daily. And, there was almost always fresh cookies at the front desk when we would come in after a long day of sightseeing.

Great place, can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was great. Plenty of room, very clean and the most comfortable beds we’ve every had at a hotel! The complimentary cook to order breafast and evening managers fare were both wonderful. We would definately stay there again on our next trip to Boston!!!

Good Location

This hotel is in a great location if traveling into or out of Logan airport in Boston. The airport shuttle was quick and the driver courteous. It was only a 5-minute walk to the T station to get downtown for dinner and sightseeing. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Hotel was nice, parking needs improvement

The hotel was good, but the parking situation was not. Basically unless you paid for valet (36.00) over night, there was nowhere to park. This would not have been an issue as much if I would have been told before I rented a car. Just beware.

Excellent hotel

The suite was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast included was excellent.

Excellent choice for Boston Marathon weekend

Four of us stayed in one of the suites, which made our weekend inexpensive but also very comfortable. The bed, as well as the pull-out sofa, was extremely comfortable. The bathroom arrangement worked well for four people, and the breakfast was actually tasty with great choices. Hard to believe we had such a tasteful hotel within walking distance of the T, so close to the airport and so close to downtown. We recommend it highly.

Very Convenient Location

I was in Boston to run the Boston Marathon. The location of the hotel was perfect. The shuttle to and from the airport was timely and very convenient. The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the airport. The T (subway) was a 5 minute walk. Also an 8 to 10 minute walk to grocery,drug stores and a few restaurants. A nice park across the street from the hotel. Room was nice and clean, maid service was great. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great value for the price.

Dont rent a car. The T(Subway) is very close and will take you wherever you need to go.

Nice large rooms

The hotel was great, free breakfast was awesome. The only complaint I have was it took us a while to get service for dinner at the restaurant.

if you are going to boston....stay here!!!! wow, what wonderful accomidations & staff. everyone was so friendly & the place is total kid friendly. we had breakfast every morning before walking over to the airport T to see you sites. then for supper we had the manager special which was just enough food & options to keep our whole family satisfied. if we come back to boston we are staying here. the shuttle service was awesome, too. to & from the airport & if you want, to & from the T line. Thank you Embassy Suites.

Very Convenient and Comfortable

This is a very convenient and comfortable hotel for someone staying in Boston whose activities will be concentrated mostly in the downtown area. If you are flying, don’t bother renting a car because the subway so is convenient (and will charge you to park your rented car). The airport blue line subway station is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. (It is well lighted path past an athletic field and playground so it is a safe walk even at night.) It is less than a 10 minute ride to downtown once you are on the subway. The included breakfast is a step up from typical continental breakfasts. The only drawback is you may have to get up earlier as the breakfast ends at 9:00 AM on weekdays. Another nice feature is they will hold your baggage in a secure room even after you check out if you need to stash your bags for a few hours before your flight. Cleanliness should be fine for almost everyone except for the most germophobic people.

This hotel was great! The rooms were very nice and big. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The parking in Boston is very expensive. I would suggest taking the "T" subway. It is a short walk from the hotel thru the park, but it will save you a lot of money on parking if you rented a car and cab fares if you take a cab. Average parking cost there was about $32.00 and a cab into town at Copley was about $35.00. The subway is $2.00 one way.
