"Great family run hotel. Very charming! Staff are nice and friendly. The food was very good. Beach is 5 min walk from the hotel. The bus stop to get to Heraklion is less than 20 min walk. I would recommend a car though. We had an amazing holiday!"

"The owners were friendly and helpful, and it was cheap. However, the fact that A/C was NOT included was well hidden in the list of conditions. While Expedia listed the place as "having A/C", you actually have to pay 6-8 Euros extra to actually "use" the A/C. I think it is important for potential future customers to know that yes, the place is cheap and the owners are nice, don't be surprised that you will have to pay extra for A/C."

"Decent studios and great location. Friendly family owned business. Downsides: We had to pay for the air con to be turned on which was ridiculous. They charge a nightly rate We payed for breakfast on the first day but it’s not worth it, much better off going outside and finding great places for the same price or cheaper. "The property was superbly postioned... Just steps from the sea... The owners were very welcoming to me which was reassuring as i was staying alone. My room was airy and spacious. "I went with my friend for a girls holiday. Had a great time, Stonewell is in a great location, near the strip and the beach. This was ideal for us cause it wasn’t on the strip meaning it wasn’t too loud or rowdy at night! The Stonewell bar and restaurant was great, lovely food and amazing, friendly staff!
