“I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. “Our room was very big and clean for what we paid for it. We actually had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was hit and delicious and ready on time, which was super important to us because of how early we leave. The only thing I would say is 1) clean the cigarette butts from the perimeter of the building, and 2) lock the outside door to the building where the rooms are.
