“There is no staff on property; information about self check-in is normally delivered electronically, but Expedia doesn't share that information with the hotel. So when you arrive you have to call the number on the office door to get your room assignment and code for the door lock. About half the rooms are upstairs, with no elevator and outside stairways. There is heat in the rooms, but that's all -- you can't even run a fan (needed after taking showers) and no AC. We tried opening a window,……

“We were welcomed and check in was easy. Warm fresh cookies put out in afternoon which were delicious! Room was clean, beds comfortable and breakfast was nice. Enjoyed chatting with other travelers in the cozy breakfast area. Very close to town and convenient to food.”

“This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs……
