“While this place has so much potential but it seems the owner didn't care about this place at all. Avoid this place at all cost! You will be dealing with constant issues from the moment you check in. No microwave, no fridge and no water! Trying to contact a person to resolve your problem, its a nightmare!”

“This is an older hotel with outdated decor but don’t let that stop you from booking, unless that sort of thing bothers you. Room was clean, grounds were nice, and the hot tub was great. The continental breakfast was very nice with a lot of options and free flowing coffee!”

“I enjoyed my stay here. It's a cute 50's style motel with fun pops of color. Not high end by any means, but a nice place to rest my head. I tried to check in a mere 15 minutes early after a long drive from Vail, and was turned away until official check in time. Kind of disappointing. Parts of the room could use a little attention, but overall it was good.”

“Bed was clean, AC was comfortable, room was large. Floors and shower were not the cleanest. The workout room was lacking (one elliptical, one bike, weight machine). Indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was basic (yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, toast, waffles, fake scrambled eggs). Good pick for the area at this rate if you just need a place to crash.”

“The air conditioner was rattling and very loud. There was something above the bathroom ceiling that sounded like water running that never shut off. When we came down at 8:30 to get breakfast and checkout there was no coffee in the breakfast area or lobby and they were out of eggs and waffle batter. The pool and hot tub were great and our room was very clean.”

“What a great location for exploring Salida, right on the river, just off F street. An unusual location on the second story of an historic building (only for those able and willing to climb the stairs to the units.) The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the balcony looking over the river is a great place to enjoy the views. Good AC, and quiet. We feel so lucky we found this mini hotel which is run like an Airbnb. Easy to contact the manager who is very helpful.”
