“I honestly never expected a Fairfield by Marriott property to be like this. I have stayed at Fairfield properties in Amritsar and other places, but this experience was completely different and extremely disappointing. * The room size: The rooms are very small, but honestly, that is not even my main complaint. I understand that Fairfield is a limited-service brand and rooms can be compact. * Food quality: The food was extremely ordinary and nowhere close to the quality or presentation I……

“We recently stayed at the Ibis Calangute while in Goa for some very sad family business, and I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and its staff. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible during a difficult time. The standards set by the manager were clearly very high. He regularly took the time to greet us personally and check that everything was okay, and the team he led followed his example with warmth,……

“It’s an old Goan style property, which I like and was why I booked it. A very large room by today’s standards, with all the needed amenities. Kept clean, even though things are getting old in it. But bathroom and other fixtures are kept up-to-date. I gave it three stars not because there’s anything wrong with the place, but just because it’s that level of quality. It is right next to the beach, and that’s another major plus. There are lots of shops and restaurants along the main road nearby,……

“Chambre au confort simple, vaste et propre, lit confortable, terrasse avec vue partielle sur mer. Plage toute proche, 50m. Buffet de petit déjeuner payant, pas extraordinaire. Grande salle de bain propre avec bonne douche. Climatiseur un peu bruyant + fan efficaces. Personnel sympathique et efficace. Pas de ménage fait en 3 jours, c'est dommage, surtout à cause du sable rapporté de la plage. 1 seul tube de shampoing.”
