“Sitio idílico para estancia de 1 noche. Son cabañas en plena selva. El servicio en recepción y en el restaurante es excelente. La playa es muy bonita, aunque el baño no está permitido por peligro de cocodrilos. Nosotros hemos estado en una habitación para 4 (capacidad 5). Para una noche es correcta, aunque la limpieza es terrible: mucho polvo y debajo de las camas no han limpiado desde hace meses: hemos encontrado papeles, tickets de compra, papel higiénico…muy asqueroso, la verdad. Easy drive to most of the Daintree area but you can definitely enjoy a chill day with breathtaking views there as well. Very clean and environmental friendly rooms. “Los bungalows están a un lado de la carretera sin ser visibles desde la misma y el acceso es un trozo estrecho, con lo que si llegáis por la noche id con precaución de no pasaros el cartel y haced un acto de fe porque aunque no lo parezca hay un acceso justo en ese punto. El bungalow estaba limpio y bien equipado pero con dos maletas se nos hizo complicado movernos dentro de la habitación, pero eso fue más problema nuestro. Solo cruzar la carretera tienes una playa preciosa.”

“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

“We stayed for 2 nights. Room was good with comfortable beds and pillows. The owner Gil was very friendly and you were made to feel like the zoo was yours. You could go into the zoo whenever you wanted, even at night which was an eerie experience and was well worth doing. Breakfast was continental with various fresh breads and spreads, cereal, fresh mango juice, tea and coffee. This was included in the price. This hotel is great for people who like animals and want a different hotel...
