“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. “We stayed for 2 nights. Room was good with comfortable beds and pillows. The owner Gil was very friendly and you were made to feel like the zoo was yours. You could go into the zoo whenever you wanted, even at night which was an eerie experience and was well worth doing. Breakfast was continental with various fresh breads and spreads, cereal, fresh mango juice, tea and coffee. This was included in the price. This hotel is great for people who like animals and want a different hotel……

“Rainforest heaven. The cabin is spacious, quiet and wonderfully equipped for a peaceful stay. The bed is magnificent - you even have a pillow menu! The outlook from your own private deck to the surrounding rainforest is captivating. Very highly recommended if you are looking for a peaceful, private haven.”
