“Great place to stay in Westport! The room was a great size considering it only slept two people. The bathroom seemed recently updated and was very nice (especially the shower). The location was great for exploring the town and being close to pubs, restaurants, and activities. They had a nice living room type area downstairs to sit, but no additional amenities.”

“This hotel is a great location but it felt a little worn down and cramped and the parking was a bit of a nightmare. The rooms were beautiful but the view onto the street not so much. Breakfast was just okay. We only stayed here one night but compared to all the other fabulous stays we had in Ireland, I would not return to this hotel. We did love that they gave us bags of O’Donnell’s potato chips - the best potato chips we had in Ireland. That was a nice touch.”

“10/10 super central and cosy guesthouse in Clifden.
Super location, clean rooms, fast wifi and the Nespresso machines in the room were a welcome surprise.
The kitchen and entrance are getting a refurb but its a minor quibble, it looks exciting . The wine bar will open in July but the space is free to use for guests and is a really cool, chill space.
Really friendly local owner who gave us some local tips on the hidden gems of Connemara .

“The food from breakfast to dinner was top notch. The staff was more than accommodating and it was like I knew them for years! The scenery is second to none and the pubs were friendly and they embraced the rural pubs of old, simply charming. If going to Achill this is the place to be.”
