“The hotel was in a ideal location. The views couldn’t get better, simply outstanding. The hotel is also in a perfect location for island hopping, snorkeling, and any water activity. It was no more than a 2-3 walk. The food selection was good. A lot of near by restaurants as well. However, there were some things that I didn’t like about the stay. The first and major was the mold and water residue in the shower. This is unacceptable for any leisure. Also, the constant harassment of Aroma Spa staff……

“Incredible location, resort, staff and food. I stayed here for 10 nights and it was perfect. The rooms are spacious with a tasteful interior equipped with air conditioning. The villas are situated in a garden with paths, overlooking the ocean on a small cliff. The staff is attentive and eager to provide excellent service. “This was absolutely a perfect retreat after a weeklong Safari in the Serengeti! We stayed in the two bedroom bungalow directly on the beach and had absolute privacy along with 24 hour security! “Lovely room and the view was phenomenal. Check in says till 11pm but make sure you let them know in advance (we had) but it was clear they were due to go home when we arrived after 10. Food at restaurant was great, and staff very helpful. We dived with the sister hotel and had a great experience. We contacted them ourselves as hotel suggested getting shuttle bus to book but they were responsive via WhatsApp and this was easier.”

“Had an excellent 3 night stay at Gaia Villas. There are only 8 rooms on the property so it was very cozy and had a pool and garden in the middle. The pool was refreshing in the afternoon heat. The rooms are quite spacious and the AC works very well. The location is great as it’s only a 10 minute walk to Numgwi beach and a 10 minute ride to Kendwa. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the quickest service of any of the hotels I stayed at. The only negative was the bed was pretty firm and……
