“We stayed at Frenchie’s room. The property has an unpleasant odor, likely due to its age. The floors are quite creaky, and the walls between rooms are very thin, making it easy to hear noise and conversations from neighboring rooms. There is no shampoo or conditioner. The freezer compartment in the mini fridge was heavily iced over, which significantly reduced the usable storage space. “Great historical hotel, beautiful place, really enjoyed staying there. Great location, so close to lots of trails, amazing park. What I did not like much: quality and variety of meals at the restaurant was not great. “Comfortable, upscale, private, easy to access. My family of 4 had a great stay here while visiting Mt. Ranier. We are frequent travelers and have high standards. The only thing that wasn't great was the quality of the bed pillows--if you are particular, bring your own. Everything else from the furniture to the kitchen to the hot tub and the games provided were excellent!”

“The cabin has a nice well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with nice towels and blankets. However, the heating unit downstairs needs repair which was not great as it got really cold the last night of our stay. The fire pit is lovely but the chairs need replacing because they are mostly cracked from the sun and one broke at the back. We communicated with the owner about dead batteries and missing remotes but there was no followup. ”

“Absolutely loved staying in this cabin!! Finding it was a little difficult because the driveway had no numbers and led to a different cabin on the same property, but the house and spot itself had a perfect blend of privacy and camping experience we were looking for.
