“Our room was clean and comfortable but showing its age. Although it had been freshened up, the TV was quite old and picture quality was SD when these days one might expect HD. Similarly the light above the bathroom mirror was not even LED and when we found the pull cord it was dim and and only illuminated several years of dust. The bed was very comfortable. “This is a lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect and upon arrival, were delighted by the decor, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the manager who greeted us. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level. A full English breakfast, including a full gluten-free and veggie option with doorstop toast. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future, and can't recommend it enough if……

“I originally wanted to book from the 14th to the 18th but the system wouldn’t allow me to do that so I ended up booking one night and then after a couple of false starts I managed to book the other 3 nights. The first night I had a room with a shower which was very nice (lovely in fact). However the wi fi was terrible downstairs but works a lot better upstairs as I had to change rooms because of not being able to book all 4 nights at the same time. Really good otherwise.”
