We booked 2 rooms for family of 8 with kids 3 weeks ahead of time and they gave us 2 separate far apart. In the hotel, they don’t have toothbrush, toothpaste, other necessities that all 4 star hotel should have. This is not a 4 star hotel. This is considered 3 star hotel at best. Resort fees are paid separately: $157 per room.

Upon check in our condo was dusty, the fridge had food stains, the bathroom had random hairs left behind from the last guest. We were tired from a long drive and I ended up handling it myself with the cleaning supplies I brought from home, however for the rate we paid the housekeeping should have been much better.

Kingsmill Resort was much better than I expected. It was right next to Busch Gardens and has a lot of dining options just outside the gates. Beautiful resort with picturesque views everywhere you look. I will be back in the fall with the family to play golf. The course looked amazing! It looked to be in great shape and l loved the hilly/mountainous appeal. A lot different than here in Florida! We had a 1 br condo which overlooked a pond. We saw many deer and Turkeys. Condo was great! The only downside was the bugs. Some spiders and many moths like to slip in when you open the doors. Especially, the balcony door. This place is great for families. The kids loved the 3 pools, especially the one with the slide and lazy river overlooking the river. BA spa and gym too. We will definitely be back later this year!

Very nice, but pricey resort. Pools are far from some of the buildings. There are a few nice places to eat. Parking is tight. The main focus is the golf course for the members of the club

Kingsmill Resort was perfect for our family stay. The amenities were excellent, the food was great, the pool was great too. The one apartment condo was very comfortable. We would stay here again.

The property was a nice escape from the 'crazy' of Williamsburg et al.! The property was peaceful... there were options for families and adults. Staff was helpful and friendly!

Had the worst experience. They gave us a room in abuilding so far away from everything. We even had to use the car everytime we wanted to go to the pools. The bedroom had no air condition and for that, they placed a huge portable fan for us which didnt do anything in the 102 F weather!! The TV also did not work and it kept saying needed a setup! The bathroom looked very old and rusty. For the amount of money we paid for a 5 star resort it was an absol ute disappointment

Spa services were amazing! Food at James Landing Grill was AWFUL! Lobster roll was made of artificial lobster that was inedible and the Chilean Sea Bass special was drowned in oil and not good! I’m sorry I paid for it! Was the worst meal I’ve ever had! Was extremely disappointed as this was our first meal upon arriving and did not eat at the resort afterwards.

The River Pool is such a highlight of this property. We stayed close enough to walk there - great amenity to have access to! We did have maintenance come once during our visit as the can light was hanging out of the ceiling - they "fixed it", but no offer to clean up the mess that was left on the bed. Another great perk - the Patriot Shuttle you can take to various places in the area. This was a fantastic option and we were so pleased with the service provided. Overall, great stay.
