“The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel.”

“If you are looking for serenity Dyktinna Villas is the place. This charming and quaint little village is a gem tucked up in the mountain side. Manoli and Maria are amazing and very welcoming hosts. For an authentic Cretan meal take a very short stroll through the cobble stone path to a restaurant called η Βριση (e Vrisi ). The owner Myrto treats you like family and will make you a meal that rivals that of a Michelin star chef. A truly magical place to experience. ”
