“we had a very nice stay. very central, a bit of a sea view, family run and lovely Italian breakfast. very clean, good beds and great bathroom”

“property itself was good and room was well maintained. main reason for the 3 star rating is the location. although it was only five min from the airport but there was negligible public transportation specially on a sunday. closest stop was in a parking lot which required 8-10 min walk through a main road with no sidewalk etc. night time area looked quite shady. no places to eat nearby. i would suggest only using it if you had a rental car or for a night in case you have an early flight to……

“La Gelsomina was, without question, one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a dream. The property is incredibly peaceful, quiet, and secluded.... a true escape from the world. Surrounded by the countryside, it offers a level of tranquility that is hard to put into words. It honestly didn't even feel real at times. The accommodations were stunning. Calling them "rooms" doesn't do them justice because they felt more like……

“This was a wonderful stay in a village close to Mt Etna. Everything was beautiful, the house the mountain, the hosts were very attentive and accommodating. There was plenty of advice for tourism. I met a nice couple passing through at breakfast. What a nice way to meet others traveling if you wish. I highly recommend this lovely quiet casa. There were excellent restaurants in the village and bakery.”
