“Parking was easy and nearby. The room was mostly clean if not a little shabby…the couch. Flooring in bedroom did not match up to threshold in bathroom. Air conditioning worked but was very loud in the bedroom. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful…when they were there which was infrequent. Best attribute of the hotel was it’s proximity to downtown and especially the Spoonbill restaurant across the street.”

“The staff were very friendly and breakfast was nice but we went days without new towels or new sheets after asking several times. We finally got housekeeping in the room on the last day of our 4 night stay and had to take our own trash out daily. Likely will find another property in the future ”

“A van blocked the front entrance when I arrived. I mentioned it to the front desk person who responded, "I. know." That was exemplary of every interaction I had with her. There was an employee smoking at the entrance every time I went in and out. Nice cloud to walk through and the van was there when I left to have dinner much later. Breakfast was sparse. The coffee was good. Although signage indicated ice on my floor there was none. No coffee in the room. Door was sketchy. Obviously an……

“This was my 1st time staying at a Wingate property & we enjoyed it. Limited breakfast options, not an actual pool just a whirlpool hot tub, & laundry room will probably need new machines soon. We were in town for basketball & overall this property suited our basic needs just fine.”

“Such a cute little gem, right outside of downtown Lafayette. The house was lovely inside and out. The recent renovations and layout of the house makes it feel so much bigger than it is. The vaulted ceilings, and beautiful attention to details in the interior design made this a new place to stay when we visit! ”

“Upon arrival i was taken aback. There was a tarp on the roof on signs of construction in the front yard. In order to get into the home you have to walk around the house to the back door. Upon entry there were signs of water damage in the ceiling. Fast forward l....had electricity upon check-in but after returning, about 5 hours later the electricity said look for me.....yeah not an ounce of electricity at the residence. The home could really use an update. Aside from the electrcity issue, i felt……
