Make sure you inspect room before settling in...

The hotel is in excellent condition considering it was built in the 1920s. It does not have a swimming pool but it does have an exercise room. Does have a on-site restaurant Irish Pub call the Dubliner . The food was amazing and the prices were excellent. On the second floor it has two coffee machines at least 20 different choices of coffee. Third floor it has a washer and dryer complimentary. We were upgraded to a sweet. The room had the bedroom with TV, TV room and office withTV. Good size bathroom and an excellent shower. Small fridge with an ice maker,microwaved and small coffee pot . Is centrally located the Union Station was within walking distance also the museum of the National Guard and the post office Museum which I recommend . We ate breakfast at the Corner Bakery with in walking distance the breakfast will not disappoint you. Overall was a great experience the staff was very helpful and friendly they offer to called a taxi for us .We will definitely stay there again the next time we go to Washington DC.

Tried messaging multiple times prior to check in to confirm check in process and possibility of checking in early, no response. Finally called upon arrival, was told they had to confirm my reservation and would call back, after waiting an hour, called 3x no answer, eventually spoke to someone else who said property was double booked and offered a different stay in a different location and smaller, not willing to do reasonable refund. They cancelled my reservation and were extremely unprofessional in handling the canceled reservation. Expedia had trouble reaching them 1 minute after closing and cancelling my reservation. Not worth the hassle of staying at another property they managed.
