I have 3 requirements when staying in a hotel for work, quiet, clean and inexpensive. I am only there to sleep and shower so I need no bells and whistles, this place fulfills all of my requirements including a friendly staff.

The staff was nice and efficient. The coffee was great and breakfast included waffles, muffins and cereal, but was lacking gluten free options. The room was clean, but the whole place needed lots of upgrades. (The pool area was ripped up, so maybe they’re starting there!) Dark, unwelcoming hallways. The bed was lumpy and squeaked when you sit on it. The room was damp, musty almost and you could smell old smoke, even though it was a nonsmoking room.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The hallways in the rooms are dimly lit. The room smells of bleach over urine. The towels were dirty. There was a hole in the bathroom door, which did not shut completely, although there are signs for new noise after 10 PM, people continued yelling. At 6 AM, people were honking their horns in the parking lot. Management seem to be absent the whole time, only one young man worked the desk, and he said nothing. In the middle of the night, I contemplated, leaving and trying to find another hotel nearby.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was presentable however when we pulled the blankets back our sheets (on both beds) had very visible stains on them. Also, in the bathroom, the walls were visibly dirty with streaks running down them. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot so our basic needs were met.

The toilet ran the entire time and was loud making it hard to sleep. The remote did not work for the tv. The lights/lamps did not work (only 1 of the 4 turned on). There were stains on the sheets, floors, and foot stool. However, the staff was great, friendly and attentive.
