"Air conditioning does not work and looks like probably not worked for many years. Decor is VERY tatty and looks like nothing been done for more than 20 years. It was very hot in high 30s during our visit so we had to have windows open but as it is more like a motel than a hotel we did not feel very secure having windows adjacent to public area open. "The hotel is at thw edge of an industrial estate but was very quiet and we just used it as a stopover when Travelling to Germany. The hotel was spotlessly clean with a comfortable room and a really nice bathroom. The staff were really welcoming and extremely helpful, they all spoke perfect English too. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you need to be in Metz or are on your way through as part of a long journey "
