“Property was exactly as described. Very clean. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The location was great for outdoor activities. We hiked and mountain biked. A rail trail goes right through town. Not a big town, few options for restaurants, but we were just there to bike and hike so were happy with our choice. It was great to be able to bring our dogs and the fenced in yard was secure and large. ”

“We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay in this tidy ranch house in Lewisburg. The inside was a happy surprise- tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches too (snacks, personal supplies, plush towels, nice bedding). Great location to walk to downtown Lewisburg- a very cute little town. We based ourselves here be near the Greenbrier River trail for biking and to travel to the New River Gorge for hiking. We also enjoyed the proximity to White Sulphur Springs……

“Cottage is as advertised plus more. Location was smack in the of attractions and restaurants. When asking questions the reply is quick. Cottage was clean and fully stocked. This was our first VRBO where coffee, sugar and cream was supplied so it was one less thing to pack for our trip. Bed was comfortable with enough blankets to bake under (we had to remove one of the comforter). If you forget any toiletries dont worry they have a basket of commonly used items. They think of everything for you……

“We did not use Hot Tub. There were 3 doggie beds, ( we call them climbs) in the basement, that was a great addition for our dog as she loves to hang out on them. Very pet friendly, very clean. Convenient to Lexington to see all the history in the town. The drive out to the house is awesome, very remote but we still felt very safe. Deer were everywhere. Big yard for the dog to play as well. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a great stay in New Castle. The house is located right of the main road but, it still felt private and secluded. The amenities outside really made this location. Great areas to relax and enjoy nature. There is an adorable coffee shop in town that serves breakfast and lunch. Roanoke is a 40 minute drive from town. I traveled with my elderly father so, we did not hike any of Jefferson National Forests. We are hoping to travel back in when it’s warmer to the joy the property and area more. ”
