“ I wish we could’ve stayed longer but unfortunately I had to swap out the overalls for a suit and tie and back Chicago. The bird songs will be just a dream! My dog Mickey now knows the word canoe and will miss jumping in and out and dozing off while we (my husband as well) lazily paddled around! We (all three!) will definitely be returning! “We stayed here for a family reunion and had a great time. The location was perfect. Being right on the river means mosquitoes at times, that's what long sleeves and bug spray is for. We brought some SUPs and enjoyed putting in right from the dock on the property. The fire pit was also a big hit. We made good use of the entertainment options - the piano, giant checkerboard on the back porch, dart board and foosball table in the basement, and Cornhole in the yard. We almost missed the large……
