We lost power to both of our adjoining rooms and they couldn’t figure out how to get it back on. We had to use cell phone flashlights for the entire evening to put our kids to bed and all of our food in the fridges got warm or melted. The power eventually came back on around midnight but when we asked for reasonable compensation (we had to take our whole family out for dinner when we had planned on eating in the room using the food we had bought and kept in the fridges), we were told there was no manager on site and they couldn’t authorize any sort of refund. And there was no way for us to contact anyone in charge. Just a very frustrating situation. The night front desk guy tried to be helpful and offered us another room but since we had no lights to be able to pack up our stuff…. Other than that, it was a good place to stay. Just frustrated with the lack of responsiveness…

The photos online make the hotel appear alot nicer than it looks in person... It appears alot older and rundown in person. When we got to our room i couldnt find any light switches, turns out there was no light in the room only lamps. The restroom light was outside of the restroom behind the door, which i thought was odd. When we went to eat our continental breakfast the room was very small and not very many tables and chairs, we ended up just grabbing a yogurt or bagel and walking back to the room to eat, however when we started walking back their was a lady stairing us down telling us we couldnt take the food back to our room... we didnt take a bunch of food just something small each as there wasnt much to chose from but there also wasnt enough places to sit. I can underatand if we took excess food but this wanst the case. Overall... i guess you get what you paid for..

Everything was good except they refused to give us extra blankets!!! I would think a hotel would have extra blankets to offer. We had to use towels until we could BUY blankets the next day!!!! WE WERE SHOCKED!!!!!!!! A hotel that doesn’t have extra BLANKETS!!! YIKES!

The room was cleaned but sink was damaged. Some staff members working in the morning and night were not welcoming but Hispanic staff were all welcoming and made me give a three stars. I was going to give a 2 stars. I did enjoy the morning breakfast and lady there was so welcoming. Parking was included but the staff at the reception was charging me in the morning for the last day parking and wanted me to make an additional payment. I explained to him that I had stayed previously and they had not charged and he stated that they had new policy. He truly did not make me feel welcome to comeback.

I paid for early check in and received a dirty bathroom (I took photos and videos there was pink caked in the tiles as well as private hairs or else extremely short hair in the caked on pink stuff) as well as a TV that didn’t work. When I told the man at the front desk he told me “I will tell a manager” that was it. Period! A manager later called me after he saw my review and offered me $28 back (less than my early check in rate). It’s very unfortunate since my daughter goes to school in Southern California and we travel a lot to Disney/Universal.

The staff was cordial, the room was clean, there was a microwave & refrigerator in the room, the elevator worked and they served a limited free breakfast. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the convention center with several good restaurants within walking distance. There were a couple of foreign hairs in the bathtub and the door lock latch was broken. There is only one ice machine and it costs 25 cents to fill the ice container. They serve coffee, tea, 2 juices, toast, bagels, cereal, small muffins, small pastries, yogurt, fruit and hard boiled eggs for breakfast. I would give it an extra Star if they served a better breakfast since that is a big draw for me! I’m used to Best Western’s breakfasts that serve waffles or pancakes and sausage or bacon.

Upon arrival, I realized I had inadvertently booked an accessible room. I asked if it would be possible to change to a standard room, however I was informed there would be an upgrade charge to do so. I also requested a room not located on the first floor, but no alternative options were available, which was disappointing. The front desk made a photocopy of my ID during check-in, which I was not comfortable with due to privacy concerns. Breakfast was basic and limited, and the overnight guest service associate was not particularly welcoming. Given the hotel’s proximity to the theme park area, I expected a more accommodating level of hospitality. Overall, my experience did not meet expectations and I would likely choose another property for future visits.
