It was a horrible experience. They had me drive to a location located on Muldoon to tell me the rental is on the other side of town near the airport. Waste of time and messed up my plans the following morning.

If I could give this urine soaked fecal farm negative stars I would. I had to walk all over this neighborhood looking for a this “inn” so I was already exhausted. That’s on me. When I found it I was greater by a tweaker host that tried to shake me down for a $150 deposit. I should have charged a deposit in case i got lice. I stayed at a hotel in Baltimore that had rats eating Chinese food from a takeout box in the hallway that was a 5 star luxury resort compared to Canker Way Inn. I can’t post pics here but they’re going up on google, yelp, and everywhere else I can find. I haven’t had a chance to call Expedia yet but if they don’t make this right with me I’m gonna leave horrible reviews about their lack of vetting every morning, before I even have coffee, until the day I die. The only experience that I’ve ever had that was more disgusting and dehumanizing that this scum hole was a few days in San Antonio jail

I thought I crossed the River Styx and entered Hell. We arrived at 11:30 pm and they didn’t know we had a reservation. They told us to wait in our car until ready. This was in anchorage Alaska with temps in the teens and falling. After 20 minutes we called and they said they need another 15 minutes. We came back around 1:15 am and no answer. We left and then they sent us a msg at 1:32 am that our room was ready. Came back to find filth, cold room, holes in walls and ceilings, and the only bathroom had a tub filled with filthy water. DO NOT STAY HERE. Further Expedia should be held liable for having this place on their site. I’m trying to get my money back but have been disconnected TWICE while trying to reach Expedia.

I liked the comfortable mattress and pillows. I thought this property was not ready to host guests as there were no written instructions; No Toiletries; Limited linens; room 3 smelled of cigarette smoke; room 1 had a broken bed frame & the door didn’t lock properly. No coffee for guests. The staff asked that I wait outside upon arriving at 6:26pm. Upon entering after standing outside, the main shared areas smelled of vomit and was covered in dirty and leaves (with many leaves coming out of the opened coat closet. Other than a bed and hot water for a shower (the shower head was broken), I would not recommend this property. I’ve stayed at some interesting places, but this on would not be a repeat for me and my family.

Beyond awful

This place was beyond awful. It’s a trick, a trap. No one is there. Multiple phone calls were not answered. No way to leave a message. Hotels.com is responsible to vet places and did not do their due diligence.

Place was okay for one night to sleep. The couple that tends to the property were nice but the place was not clean and needed a lot of work. Bed was comfy though and it was quiet. I was worried about my car, since the area is a little rough.
