“Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

“totally fantastic stay at this absolutely gorgeous property. the welcome was warm, the room comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the property grounds and views amazing. the breakfast was amazing - the best we had on our trip through Normandy. everything was delicious and fresh. definitely recommend staying here, it was positively enchanting.”

“When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case……

“Nice hotel! Vehicle parking available across the street towards the pier. Friendly staff! Breakfast was very good!! Room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Good to know: no elevator access to upper levels; stairs only. Not a big deal imho. Nice area! Great location; close to WWII historic sites. About a 15 minute drive to the American Military Cemetery, and about a 1.5 hour drive to Mont Saint Michel to the southwest and Le Havre area to the north east. I would stay here……

“First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. “Had a nice room with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with some space, which was not our experience elsewhere in France. The downtown area with shops and restaurants was just a short walk from the hotel. In the evening, after dinner in town, my wife and I would sit at a table outside our room, relax and enjoy the cooler temperature. The hotel had a self-serve breakfast buffet that had plenty of cold cuts, fruit, granola, crepes and croissants, but very few hot items. We would warmly recommend……
