"This was a nice, spacious room that was well appointed and had a bathtub (yay!). The decor was super cute. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect. The pool was a little too cool for us, but it was super cool looking! I think this was my favorite hotel out of the four we stayed out in France. I recommend!"

"We loved the Fourviere Hotel. The former convent is in a quiet location, albeit at the top of a hill overlooking Lyon. The staff were very friendly, the food good (reflecting traditional Lyon styles) and the cleanliness of a high standard. The breakfast was plentiful. The spa is small and can get crowded at certain times, while the outside pool was very nice, along with the gardens, in which we relaxed as the weather was good. The local funicular normally runs from 5am until midnight, making the journey to and from the old town easy."

"The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Gare Part Dieu, so very convenient for the train as well as local busses, metro and trams. It is a 45 minute walk from the old town if you don’t use public transport. The hotel was excellent clean and exactly as it looked on the internet pictures, and the breakfast was good value,, though there are also lots of Patisserie’s near by.Would definitely recommend."

"I enjoyed the breakfast and the room was comfortable but the most important thing to me was the location. The hotel is perfectly situated for access to the main railway station. The tram stopped right outside and took you to the metro line D which went to the old town. Very convenient. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and Westfield is right outside the door."
