We are a few blocks north of the Lawrence campus, so you don't need to worry about college night life. Located between College Ave and Wisconsin Ave, you're never far from any shopping needs just a few minutes down the road. You'll love it here!

The home was perfect for our family, very clean and was exactly as it was described in the listing. It was our best VRBO rental in Appleton yet. We will always try and book here first in the future!

Nice, but!
Neighborhood was quiet, nice and lovely! A few items to consider: not a great place for older folks as the floors are so uneven, because the stairs were painted they should have anti skid strips (dangerous), the bathrooms are minimal and difficult to use, the water heater temperature is way too high (could easily be burned), and the kitchen could be equipped with at least seranwrap or something to cover leftovers. As a side note, we were attending EAA Air Venture and purchased packing camp chairs and left them in the house, hopefully for the next family! Overall, it was sufficient! Our group was made up of three older couples, a 50 year old and a 18 year old! Thank you!

A soft place to land
My father was unexpectedly hospitalized in Appleton and we needed a place to stay while we were checking on his progress The house was clean, comfortable and in a really nice location. We really enjoyed our stay. Our only disappointment was we were not able to stay an extra night. The beds were so comfortable we all had a great night sleep. It was a very soft place to land as we got our dad home from the hospital. I really recommend staying at this home.

We stayed here for the Airventure airshow in Oshkosh nearby, and the daily drive was short and easy. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, and the house has been beautifully remodeled. We will definitely come back!

Family Gathering
We rented this beautiful property, which is located in the neighborhood that I grew up in, and where my parents still reside. We had 8 family members coming in from out of town and we would have been too crowded staying at my parents’ home. Having this VRBO was so convenient! We had extra bedrooms and bathrooms available as needed throughout our stay, and the kitchen & dining room served us very well for large family dinners together! The fenced in backyard and pet-friendly owners were perfect, as our mini schnauzer came along. It was handy to have the washer and dryer available for our use as well . We will definitely rent this same house if we ever need more space when visiting Appleton!

Short and sweet stay in Appleton. Clean and nice. Only hang up was that the central AC is super central because it only pumps into the central room of the house and not the bedrooms. Aside from that it is fine.

Really great rental for our family visit. However, if you do cook you will need to bring your own kitchen essentials like (tin foil, plastic bags, and seasonings) also a blender would have been nice. But the house was comfortable, nicely remodeled, and in a great location.

Forced family fun trip for a gb packers game
We gathered to attend a Green Bay packers game. 8 adults. The house was older, but refurbished in a charming way. Brand new kitchen. Comfortable furnishings, and very comfortable beds. Beautiful home base in Appleton
We are 7 women who have been friends for decades and we travel for a long weekend each autumn somewhere in the Midwest. This home is immaculate and has a very well stocked full kitchen. Plenty of space for sleep on comfortable beds. Adequate parking for our three shared vehicles. Within walking distance of downtown Appleton and the river walk. Beds are very comfortable and the two baths are modern. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the older style curved staircase, may be a challenge to navigate if you are less able bodied than our crew. There is a bed and bath on the first level as well. We did not use the grill yet one is provided. Great communication from the host. Excellent WiFi connection and good cell service on three different carriers. Would highly recommend this home and it’s host!

Beautiful house in a quiet residential neighborhood
This house is beautiful, spotless, and charming and is just as appears in the pictures. The layout of the house allows for people to get together or have their own space when needed. The Roku TV allowed us to use our own Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming services and allowed us to set our checkout date to end the guest access. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully-appointed and have everything we needed. The memory foam beds, pillows, and duvets are extremely comfortable which can make it a little difficult to drag yourself out of bed to explore the area. It’s an easy-to-moderate walk to the river, university, and restaurants and a short drive to many of the great local restaurants and attractions. Communication was exceptional; Mark was in regular contact leading up to the visit and had many suggestions for things to do and restaurants to try.

This is a very nice property. We were glad for the master on the main, as the winding stair case is not the best for older folks. The master on the main is a queen bed instead of a king, as listed in the property description. All the beds were comfortable though, and we would stay again.

Comfortable, Spacious Place in Convenient Location
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this property. It is very clean and well cared for and had everything we needed for a week long stay. The pictures and description in the listing is accurate. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is better supplied than in typical short term rentals, with good pans and new appliances. The fenced yard was convenient and safe for our dogs to have a quick trip outside and there is a park just down the street for a longer walk. Convenient location in a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood walking distance to College Ave. Short drive to grocery stores and malls. If you are traveling with elderly or others who can't negotiate stairs easily, note that the staircase to the second floor is steep and narrow in places. There is a queen bedroom and full bath on the ground floor so unless you have multiple people who don't do stairs, there shouldn't be a problem. Highly recommend this property if you need space, quiet, comfort and pet friendly close to Appleton/Fox Valley/Lawrence University, etc...

Exceeded our expectations!!
This property was amazing for our girls weekend! The location is perfect, you are within walking distance to everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly! Inside the house is beautiful, extremely clean, and spacious. The attention to detail is amazing - the coffee bar was my favorite! All of the necessities you need are there and more!! The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with quality items for you to use. This was the best rental we have ever stayed in!
