Nice room; poor breakfast. Hardly call it a breakfast, just coffee, juices, poor bakery, cold cereal, and NO TABLES—stand around and eat or sit in large lounge chairs. Totally wierd! It would cost the nothing put tables in the breakfast bar.

The staff was unprofessional and rude. The front desk staff appeared irritated. The hotel is old and dirty. The smell of cholorine is present everywhere, including the rooms.

This property definitely wasn’t what was depicted online. Overall pretty dated and could use a refresh. The tv in my room didn’t work my entire stay and the staff didn’t do anything about it. The room I was given was handicap accessible for some reason and the shower wasn’t very inviting. Tough to find someone at the front desk when I had questions and when trying to check out. First trip to Wausau and I’d stay somewhere else next time.

The room had not been properly cleaned. Hair was in the bed and a dried up contact lens on the vanity. Additionally the the towels and amenities were scant. When I reported it to the front desk, they offered me additional soaps, lotions, towels, and excuses that they were so busy that managers were cleaning rooms. They offered to have housekeeping change the bedding. When we came back later that day, the beds had been changed and the garbage was emptied. They left a shirt they had found in the bed (thinking it was ours) on a dresser. At this point I had had my fill. A very kind man working second shift at the front desk gave us one night free. Over all the experience in the hotel was very disappointing. I won't be going back.
