10/10 Excellent
"A well maintained property with large, spacious rooms. The airport shuttle is very convenient. The only downside is rooms facing the freeway can be a little loud."

"The staff granted an extended check out, then gave a pool key to the member of our family not going to Universal Studios for the day. This made it a pleasurable day for everyone."

"We loved this historic hotel that has been updated very tastefully into an upscale yet very comfortable place I could consider a home away from home. Downtown LA location was a pretty centralized location to airport and all the tourist attractions and beaches. Valet parking was a bit pricey so I chose street overnight parking (same block or one block over) as well as close public secure lots very reasonably priced. The one thing I did not like was being approached more than once by people on the street outside the hotel quite near the hotel entrance at night for money and when not given anything being met with a nasty comment or more of a threatening glare. The hotel needs to add a little door and street security to keep the area a little more clear for customers so that returning to the hotel at 9pm doesn’t become a real challenge for guests and something that presents itself as possibly dangerous situations. Otherwise the establishment was amazing and we really loved the roof bar and pool, the views were really great. The Exchange lobby cafe provided wonderful baristas that remembered names and drinks of choice which is really surprising these days. The free refill coffee until noon was also a nice little bonus! Film crew for AppleTV arrived our second day to film at the hotel and we got to spot a couple of well known celebrities. Highly recommended all the way around!"

"Excellent client service, and the hotel is very practical, clean, with all you need. My daughter and I had an excellent experience. A big plus is very close to Little Tokio, Grand Central Market and public transport."

"Well, it's iconic. Absolutely beautiful space, maybe this ain't for everyone, but even the door knobs/fixtures in the rooms are glass or metal with apparently brass strike plates."

"We were there to see a concert at crypto Arena. So the location is awesome. Very cute bar very expensive. Drink drinks. The only problem was I was with kids and on Saturday we went to the pool and it was closed for a pool party 21 and over. I think if I knew about that before I would’ve stayed somewhere else. Kind of sucks not to be able to go to the pool in the middle of summer."
