“Having read some of the earlier poor reviews, I was a little nervous. But I needn’t have been because this is a lovely clean and well run hotel in a great position.
What surprised me most was the quality of the restaurant and especially towards the end of the week when lobster appeared on the menu.
The bed in our room was large and comfortable with a good shower and air con.
The pool is very large, clean and with plenty of singers with some underneath the cool shade of the pines.

“Eine schöne neue Unterkunft. Jedoch wurde bei der Ausstattung gespart. Dinge wie Kleiderhaken, Garderobe, Geschirrspüllmittel sowie ein Geschirrhandtuch und Handseife haben leider gefehlt.
Das Wlan hat so gut wie garnicht funktioniert. Weiterhin sollte die Einfahrt dringend erneuert werden. Diese ist sehr eng, steil und teilweise sandig. Mit einem normalen PKW setzt man dort auf!
Leider hört man auch jeden Schritt sowohl von den oberen als auch von den unteren Wohnungen.

“È stata comunque un bel soggiorno, a parte il black out di un paio d ore senza corrente. Non è la prima volta che ho soggiornato qui… ci ritornerò sicuramente specialmente se i prezzi saranno sempre più competitivi di altri hotel in zona. Ottimo la vicinanza al mare e al suo centro storico”

“This is a very cool hotel in a building built circa 1550, and some of the original frescoes remain. Inside, the rooms have been nicely renovated with a mid-century modern theme (the bathrooms are in a current style).
The location in the historic city is very good, but finding the hotel that first time can be a challenge (my GPS pretty much had me walking in circles until I just used it as a map). The breakfast is very good and the hotels amenities-although limited-are nice.”
