"I booked this hotel because the thought of staying in a historic convent intrigued me. What I didn’t realize was that the area has very steep streets. Public transportation, including Tram 28, is close by for going into the main square area. The ladies at the front desk are so helpful with directions and suggestions. I read that the beds are hard and that is true but honestly I think it did my back some good after 4 days of climbing the hills. I wish the pillows were a bit softer. The room was an average size for a European hotel. It was comfortable and the shower was great. I didn’t partake in the breakfast but it smelled delicious. They also offer transportation to the airport for €20. Only taxis can access the front of the hotel so if you don’t feel like lugging your suitcases up the street to get an Uber, book a taxi. "
"We arrived on a Sunday evening, and discovered that the electric blind on the window was broken. After trying to fix it, with no success, we were moved to another room and upgraded. Much appreciated, the staff were responsive and did their best to make things right for two tired travellers. The hotel is in a great location, with restaurants and shops right around the corner. Added advantage was being a block away from Rossio Square, where the Christmas market was in full swing. We would use this hotel when we come back to Lisbon, so convenient for everything."
"Amazing staff, great location on main pedestrian street. Gets lively--even boisterous--outside at times. Some disturbing construction noise when we arrived from building next door, but staff promptly moved us to a different room."
"We had a wonderful experience at Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge during our recent visit to Lisbon. The location couldn't be better - perfectly situated for exploring the city's main attractions and within easy walking distance of great restaurants and shops.
The staff truly made our stay exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They were incredibly helpful in making dinner reservations for us at some fantastic local restaurants. Breakfast was a highlight of each morning. The quality and presentation were consistently excellent.
Overall, Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge exceeded our expectations. The combination of its prime location, attentive service, made it the perfect base for our Lisbon adventure. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city."
