“The cabin provided an excellent getaway for our family vacation. Our six year old loved the board games and the novelty of the loft, but we were uncertain if we were allowed to use the playground at the park for members down the road. Overall we had a great stay with lots of short and sweet adventures that the whole family enjoyed. ”

“Quiet area with a few other places around but def quiet and still seem as if it’s alone by itself. Cabin is cozy with with some essentials if you forgot a couple things. Traffic in area is rare and far enough off main roads Def relaxing and a good escape for 1 or 2 people”

“What mainly drew us to this property was the fact that it had a king size bed. Before we found this property, I joked with my wife that apparently king size beds weren't allowed in this part of the state - everywhere we looked it was just queen beds. The hot tub was hot and clean, and the lights strung on the inside gave it a resort vibe. And, we were really, really pleased that there was a restaurant less than 1/4 mile from the house - didn't even have to get on the highway to get there! ”

“Spiders,spider webs. 1/3 roll of toilet paper, 1/2 roll of paper towels with no extras,including no extra trash bag. Trash in Bathroom full of feminine hygiene used products upon arrival. Binder indicated cleaning supplies under the sink. None in Bathroom or kitchen. Chairs by creek filthy and we had nothing to clean them. Towels and bed linens clean, but area rugs are well worn.Railing on walkway to creek in bad repair. Fallen tree across walkway to creek. Bathroom and kitchen light fixtures……

“The property was very clean (except for a filthy coffee maker) but it is definitely no frills compared to other places we've stayed. It's in a quiet neighborhood but the description of the property is a bit misleading. The "lake view" and "on a lake" means there is a small shallow pond filled with algae on the edge of the back yard. There are front and back porches but there is no furniture on either so they are useless. There is a fireplace but it didn't work for us. The biggest issue is the……

“The pictures in the listing make this cabin look smaller than it is. We were very happily surprised when we got in. The bathroom had a little bit of a musty smell and a few cobwebs. The washer and dryer are large.”

“Pros:- Great location- Super peaceful neighborhood - Beautiful nature - Had all necessitiesMeh:- Not the cleanest- Silverware, plates, and cups had food bits or residue and had to be washed before using- Cobwebs on lights - Tub doesn’t drain well at all- The house has definitely been smoked in, though it smells older like it was years and years ago. It would have been nice for that to be disclosed as we have a child with Cystic Fibrosis and this can irritate his lungs even if it’s old or stale……

“Beautiful and spacious cabin, very clean and well stocked. Had games and puzzles and things, and great info about local eats and hikes. Loved that we were able to do a one night stay as that is all we needed this time of year. Highly recommend! Host very nice and responsive:)”
