“The cabin worked out great for our visit to Mt. Rainier park. It is an old cabin, and rustic, but had everything we needed to cook breakfast. Very close to the park entrance which avoided a long line of cars.”

“We woke up to about 40 elk right outside the cabin door grazing in the yard. It was amazing to see them throughout our stay. The cabin has a lot of original charm and character, but still has full modern amenities. It was exceptionally clean, with thoughtful touches. For example, all of the Teflon pans and cooking dishes are clean, scratch-free and it has silicon utensils to keep them that way. The pond is stocked with trout, and it was awesome to have the full property to explore. Very……

“Really enjoyed are stay at The Running Deer cabin, very cozy. Loved the hot tub and fire pit was very relaxing. Liked that are fur babies were welcomed, makes it so much more relaxing knowing they are with us. Really liked seeing all the deer. Has alot of movies DVD's if you want to watch them, has games there for your enjoyment. All in all a very relaxing and cozy cabin.thank you for welcoming us into your home. “Initially the check in was a negative the door code didn't work and we couldn't get ahold of the host. She finally got back to us and remotely reset the code. After that it was a lovely stay. Very cool property....fyi the trail down to the creek is very rough be careful with kiddos.”
