**CUSTOMER REVIEWS**
Paulina is one of the best hosts I've had. Her accommodations to my requests for my special occasion, which made this stay an unforgettable experience. The property itself is a gem in the woods. It offers all the fantasies I had for a weekend retreat: comfy bed, hot tub, firepit, barbecue grill, huge kitchen, as well as many other less visible features that can make a huge difference in the actual experience. Every room and corner was clean and well maintained, which has given me the right vibe I paid for. Highly recommend and will come back!

Ashford is a rural mountain community, and the best way to explore is with your own vehicle. Public transportation is not available, and ride-share or taxi services are very limited.

From the cabin:
– Turn left on Kernahan Rd E to reach Hwy 706E. Right leads to the Mt. Rainier National Park entrance; left takes you toward Ashford and back to Elbe.
– Turn right on Kernahan Rd E to follow scenic Skate Creek Rd (closed in winter) for 23 miles to Packwood and Hwy 12.

Guest Guidelines – Making Your Stay Wonderful:
- Power Outages – Rural life can mean the occasional outage. Flashlights are in every room. Heat, hot water & cooking will still work; hot tub, wall heaters & Wi-Fi pause until power returns.
- Pets – We love animals, but our cabin is pet-free. ADA-trained service animals are welcome with prior notice & documentation.
- TVs – Two Roku Smart TVs are ready in Guest Mode so you can enjoy your favorite shows. They log you out automatically at checkout.
- Septic – Please avoid walking on the mounded area in the SE corner—it helps keep our system healthy.
- Clean & Fresh – Professionally cleaned and sanitized before each stay. No smoking or pets inside.
- Firewood – If you find some left from a prior guest, feel free to use it. Otherwise, local vendors have great bundles. Please follow any burn bans.
- Visitors – For everyone’s comfort, only registered guests are allowed (infants count toward occupancy).
- Hot Tub – Please avoid use if you are pregnant or have heart or circulatory concerns. Safety first!
- Check-In/Out – Early or late options may be possible with 24 hours’ notice ($50 each) if our cleaning schedule allows.
- Security – An exterior camera monitors the front door & driveway only—no interior recording.
