“The staff was very friendly and helpful. On request, they suggested Don & GG's for supper, which was great! The room was spacious and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the retro decor, and especially got a kick out of the bright blue bathroom fixtures with white accents! We'd be very happy to stay here again.”

“Beautiful view. Pet Friendly. We stayed in the guest house. It was right off Hwy 13 including parking. Couldn’t hear traffic from inside though. It was on top of the hill looking out to Lake Superior. At bottom of motel property you can walk onto the trail Browntrail? It’s takes you along lake and into marina area and downtown. You can easily walk to and from downtown from motel. You can see the sunrise over lake from room. Nice new furnishings. Could use a luggage rack, light by parking and……

“Very impressed with the private, beautifully decorated property! We were surprised with wine and treats for our anniversary! Would love to visit in the winter with all the big windows! So much to see up north and the cabin was a nice quiet place to land after hiking to several waterfalls, a photographer's dream! ”

“Super impressed with this property. The best part was how clean it was! We got lucky to find this property in the middle of our hiking trails. It was nice to use it as a hub. Towels were plentiful and nice and thick! The owner provided an excellent restaurant suggestion called the Drop Tine. Nearby, yummy and full of local flavor. We arrived in the dark so driveway/property lights would have been helpful but we figured it out!! Thanks for a home away from home!”
