“This was a 2 star property in a 5 star location. The only window in our small room looked right out to the indoor pool and a hot tub about 8 feet away, so it was unusable. The breakfast offerings were similar to the pastries, cereal and waffles provided by other motel chains. But the location! The large lawn was right on the lake, with chairs and picnic tables. We saw a bald eagle, a blue heron, a black swan and a thousand cormorants in the bay.”
