We stayed 5 days at the Hotel Ella. It’s a beautiful building with lots of history and smaller so was not crowded at all. Unfortunately, due to some tech issues our keys didn’t work for the first two days so we had to ask for assistance whenever needing to get into the room. There was also a power outage (regional) which was 2 hrs where we were stranded for a bit as it was too dark for us to shower after the pool. The rooms lacked a safe, iron and coffee machine. However on the last day a coffee machine showed up in our room after cleaning. The staff was always very friendly throughout all of this.

Be prepared to pay for $50 for the valet parking across the street. You can opt for self parking but it's on the side streets and there isn't a lot of space. Customer service was great and the hotel was a unique historic building. Beware the bar will charge you a fee if you don't close out, this includes if you charge your drinks to your room - they still count it as a "tab". Pool area is small but nice to cool off. Overall, the convenience is nice but not my first pick.

Very outdated, not 4 stars at all and nothing what it looks like in the photos. Rooms are not in the nice historic building as shown in the pictures. They are in a very outdated separate building. Poor condition, not even a coffee maker. Ugly views. Pool area super cheap! Every things beyond disappointing. Tv didn’t work. Staff forgot to fix it 3 days in a row. Don’t go here!

Nice rooms, the valet was convenient. The valet was super expensive at $45/ per night. The restaurant was nice but had slow service. The wine bottles were a nice touch.

This is an average property. Nothing VIP about staying at this property, didn’t offer a room upgrade or free bottle of wine that was advertised at the time of booking. Room didn’t have hand soap and phone to call the reception was not clean.
