The hotel staff was absolutely amazing! Super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Hospitality at its finest. The hotel is beautiful, rooms spacious and beds comfy! Austin is definitely going through growing pains with all the construction around. Ride share was easily accessible. Easy walk to enjoy the city if you don’t mind alittle dust with the construction. The restaurant and bar, Geraldine's was exquisite. Bartender could have been alittle friendlier but the barback made up for him. He served us, was very pleasant and seemed to be the one paying attention at the bar the evening we were there. We will DEFINITELY stay here next time we’re in Austin!

As someone who needs accommodations in order to make hotel stays more comfortable, Hotel Van Zandt went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The happy hour from 5-6PM was also a nice touch. The room I had was spacious and the housekeeping was extremely hospitable.

All was good except for the bar upstairs by the pool that did not want to do a smoothie or lemonade for my daughter. Both the bar tender outside and inside the restaurant had an attitude :(.

All staff at this property were more than accommodating. The food at Geraldine’s is amazing, the coffee and happy hour margaritas at the Cafe are very good. The room was modern, clean and stocked. The welcoming of our dog was great, he got so many pets! The only downfall is finding grassy areas for your 4 legged friends is tricky and construction in the area is high but it wasn’t a higher issue. The pool area is small and was highly populated so that was a bummer but if you stake your claim early you should be good! Highly recommend.

I always enjoy the cheerful and attentive staff. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I always recommend the Van Zandt to my friends when they travel to Austin. It’s a neat place chill and relax.
