Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Everything could use improvement.
Location: Right next to the interstate. I mean right next to it!
I picked this hotel because it was a nationally regonized chain and was cheap. I should of thought the cheap part through. It was right next to the interstate, which meant I got to hear every truck that drove by. There was no coffee maker in the room which meant I had to go downstairs to get some. One towel had lipstick from a previous guest. If you want to save a few bucks, this is your place. Otherwise, spend the extra few dollars and stay somewhere nice.

Pros: The price. And it was near IHOP. The blonde girl was super nice. When the housekeeping was actually there, they were active.
Cons: The place is kinda ugly. I really hate the wooden floor. I'm a big fan of wooden floors, but I like the ones they have in Motel 6. Please fix wifi!!!
Location: It's in Round Rock and close to a lot of 24 hr. diners like IHOP and Denny's. Every gas station and convenience store closes after 12 though.
I can forgive a lot at such a low price, but I had four major problems with my stay here. 1.) The toilet doesn't flush It flushes, but you have to manually make it work. I left the tank cover open throughout my entire stay and then whenever I needed to flush, I had to plop the flapper down with my finger and lift the flush valve until the tank filled back like normal. It got very annoying. 2.) The wifi only works if you stand near the door I was staying at the ground floor close to the reception and it still didn't work. I eventually put the blankets on the floor and slept on the blankets near the door. My wifi barely worked and every 10 minutes, I had to open the door and stick my ipad out so I can receive wifi. This was very unacceptable. I complained several times and they couldn't do anything about it except reset the wifi and that didn't work. 3.) The bed was nasty There were black molds all over my bedsheet and I requested a new one, but the housekeeping crew had gone for the day and they told me to do it myself. So I took some clean bedsheets they gave me and became my own maid. The mattress was super nasty. It was filled with yellow spots. 4.) The remote barely worked The cover that held the batteries together was missing, so there was a piece of scotch tape that held them together. The remote was constantly turning off and on. I like to leave the tv on as I'm doing things, and you can understand my frustration as it kept turning off and on.

Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: management needs to take more "pride" in the cleanliness and outside appearance
Location: Good
First time staying at a Red Roof Inn. Staff was pleasant and room acceptable BUT hallways were in need of a good vacuum and some rooms had their trash can full sitting outside their room and at times overflowing out onto the floor. Outside of hotel staff was smoking and cigarette butts and trash on ground.

Pros: close to many food places
Cons: driving, and traffic
Overall good hotel for the price. Currently under renovation's, but the room itself was very nice for the price. Customer service classes should be implemented for the staff, they were nice but appeared lost when questions were asked of them.
